hey guys i dont know whts wrong with u ppl but i guess its responding to my fingers greatly ... i have used lg cookie and samsung f480 i feel the same response from the 5800 touch screen too ... simply update ur firmware to the newest it may solve the problem plus do the screen calibration option in ur phone using ur pen provided with it ... do not use finger nails to press things ...

i would really appreciate if someone can tell me how do solve these two problems i have been having with my 5800 over the past five months.
1.how do i regain enough space on the phones memory,i barely have up to 10mb.i have tried severally to uninstall the apps i installed on the phones memory but i have not been able to find the necessary files.its really bugging me.
2.also my memory card corrupts anytime i download a file over the web,its been happing ever since i got it 6mnts ago.i barely download anything over the net these days so its hard to use OVI APPS.what do i do?someone help me..

i just want to if what version of Microsoft office is applicable to this unit? because i have been sending Microsoft word files to my phone but then it says features not supported, what do i need to do? can i also upgrade the features of this phone like adding pdf? where can i also get upgraded features if ever?

This is so far the best touch phone that I have ever used. Especially, if you compare the price and the quality phone. This phone is off the HOOK! great features. Long last time battery standby and music time and above average talk time. A++ recommended over Iphone or other expensive touch screen phones

No wonder why this great phone listed 1st in GSMArena rank statistics (by interest)... Even The "Dark Knight" of Gotham City using it too i suppose! XD

i forgot my lock code and by enterring wrong one 5 times. code is blocked. phn works ok with existing sim. but when tried with other sims- does not works. went to nokia care at Kolkata(India)- they suggested me somethings wrong with hardware as they couldn't unlock the code. nokia care wants to send the phn to delhi for fixing the problem and it'll take 12 days!! can anyone suggest a remedy plz.
i had previously asked for help. someone suggested me but was in vain. suggestion was:-
kunal basu - Try to hard reset your phone. Do this by:
Pressing and holding GREEN + RED + CAMERA when powering up.

Not the best phone I ever had great features but major problems with everything recently getting corrupted from music to apps. But the new firmware update seem to have fixed everything maybe i'll have a better experience with the phone

I bought it since 1 weak n I'm selling it tomorrow, I just noticed that when I use Mini QWERTY Keyboard, the screen doesn't respond to the letter I'm trying to choose, but to the one next to it when I use , I'm pretty sure that I used it softly but I dunno why I got this problem, if you want my opinion: (DO NOT BUY IT)

I am not recieving msgs on my cell, but when ever i send msg from my phone, i recieve all that were in queue for some reason, and same way my call log is not getting updated when i either rec make or miss a call, because of which i cant keep track of missed or dialled or received calls.
can any one help out, as to what is the problem, i updated my software with latest version but no use, still the same.
please guide, any one.

can anyone suggest a solution for my problem , i encounter a problem on the wifi it says no gateway reply, this occured after i reset my phone *#7370# , now everytime i used wifi it says no gateway reply, any suggest on this problem?

the only problem ur facing is the camera quality and the performance and may i tell u why ... ur expiriencing low performance in ur mobile cuz u r still using the older firmware that ur phone came with simply update ur phone to the newest firmware and it will get quicker ... if u want more performance and more and more performance than u can imagin then its a must u stay away from smart phones ... buy something simple like a sony ericsson same menus same features almost in every single s.e. phone so u may like it ... if u hate touch screen thats probably u dont know how to use it ... if u want camera quality probably get a phone with a 5 mp camera cuz the 5800 is for music purposes ... good luck ... as far as i know the battery of my 5800 lasts for 2 and a half day maximum under using it for calls and music through the headset ... plus theres a second choice of applications waiting for every smart phone if u hate the application that comes with it ... so if u hate the phones browser that much it wont take much time to download a better browser like opera mobile to ur 5800 ...

got this phone on christmas, n started hating the phone frm d day i got it. had expected a lot, but very poor phone. features r awesome, n price is worthy, but i'd like 2 complain abt its performance.
pros:
3g, great wifi, awesome display, large screen, n lastly onscreen qwerty keypad
cons:
vry bad cam, worst browser, sucking UI, low batry life.
today my ph switchd off 2wice automatically. memo card has already started to corrupt. i wish i'd got e63 or n79 instead of this. dont recommend it at all. now i hate touchscreens although its my first touchscreen.

know what, you're right...im wondering why if there's a flash on it, the resolution of the picture is not that good compare if there's no flash on it that's why i always set it on night mode.
