i don't care much about the camera issue with this phone. if you want a good camera, then buy a dedicated camera. afterall, this is just a mobile phone.
i am amazed with it's gps, especially in its integration with google maps. net surfing is great via opera mobile 10 beta and opera mini 5 beta.
i'm pretty impressed with the earphone's audio quality but my w810's earphone sounds better.
touchscreen is quite responsive with firmware31. but it was more responsive with the prior firmware. wish i had not upgraded it. though i'm still hoping for the haptics to come.
the only thing that bothers me is the phone's battery life. I have to plug my tube to it's charger every now and then. i guess i'll have to buy an extra battery pretty soon.

Subpar photos...Is the Carl Zeiss logo on the back just a misprint? Very disappointed with the resolution of the photos. Video is fine so I use it all the time.
I suggest Nokia look into this..pls don't ruin Carl Zeiss lenses' excellent reputation.

Unfortunately, the latest editions of 5800 after Oct 2009 do not come with the TV out cable so you might want to use the N97 one. It works the same. HOpe this answers your question..By the way, I'm happy with my 5800..update the firmware and don't overload it with too much applications and it will work smoothly. The best that money can buy nowadays.

I have z 5800 for almost 9 months. it is a great one. but something happend to the screen. start to give me noise and cant see nothing. So the dealer charged $67 for new screen and said it is not covered by the warranty. that is strange.
How can I save my receives sms and my contacts on my memory card?

Tested the alarm it rings on exact time set. The problem I encountered is the flash seemed not synchronized. Pictures shot without built-in flash is clearer & brighter then with flash, strange? Has anyone experienced this?

@AntonSoft - it's a common bug on v31 firmware. happens to everybody.
the only sollution is not to set the alarm on fix hours like 6:30, 7:00. set to 6:29/6:31 or 7:01/6:59
