vinram, 02 Jan 2010 problem here!.. whenever i turn off the phone and turn it... moreI had problem after updated my firmware to v.21 that my internet browser behaved strangely. I hard reset over and over again but the problem still persisted. Finally I hard reset my phone without restore settings and bingo my phone backed to normal. I recently upgraded my firmware to v.31 via OTA and everything is fine. So far, so good. lots of progress on recent firmware: more responsive, faster UI, better audio quality. I don't find any bugs so far.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970What about the music??? Just add Mp3 on to your cell MicroSD Card and just play... You've got to buy it to know how it sounds. Different people have different prespective, don't rely everything on others, try it yourself for once...

Does anybody elses 5800's screen flicker on and off occassionally? Mine seems to do it, and wondered what I should do?

problem here!.. whenever i turn off the phone and turn it back on the camera wont start properly, but if you will check the task manager the camera is running in the system, i have 5800XM firmware 31.0.101. in order for me to use the camera properly i have to restart my phone atleast 20 times so that tha camera will work. i have no other problem with all the applications just the camera.
tried these possible solution NON OF THEM WORKS!:
1.reinstall the firmware (did not solve the issue)
2. reformat the memory card (did not solve the issue)
3. reformat the phone using a software key formating #*7370# (did not solve the issue)
remember if you wanna try these make sure you have back ups of your files and contacts.
i hope nokia will release another working firmware because this firmware is a pain in the ass since the only available firmware here in our country is this version nad the nokia updater or ovi suite doesnt have the option to re install the older firmware version.. anyone knows how to solve this issue? ^_^

hey i cannot switch on my phone its getting stuck i am just displayes nokia, after that nothing, every say its shows file erro corrupted and i cannot play music also.. sucking dammmmm!!!

In hard use, hours of browsing (on 3g and wifi), about an hour listening music, 30 minutes watching video, few minutes calls and some sms, also automatic retrieval emails every hour, my 5800 last 1 day.
If I don't browse internet very often (but increase listening music) usually last 2 - 3 days.

5800 average use the battery will last for 5-6 days.
