Ganesh..., 17 Dec 2009Hi!this is ganesh last 03 months back i was purchased this ... more(1)Music volume isn't that low.In public places use headphones preferably of a renowned brand.
(2)Shorter data cables give better speed due to high SNR.
(3)Camera should perform better outdoors as lens aperture value is high F3.7

Hi!this is ganesh last 03 months back i was purchased this phone it is good, but as per my review
1).The input & output sound was very low.
2)Data cable was very short length.
3)camara clarity was not good as per 3.2MP.
so rest of all like video clarity, and data support etc was good and i like this phone.

jul, 16 Dec 2009yes i did ,i have converted mkv file to mp4 avc and leave t... morealright if you are unable to fiddle with tvc, there are lot of converters like format factory which has in built settings for 5800, and most of the new phones. just google for it and install it. and the best thing is it is free... so you dont have to crack it like tvc. but all the files, mkv, avi, flv, wmv, all of them, played in 5800.

Frank, 16 Dec 2009Got a new 5800 battery only lasts 24 hours. All application... morehey frank, practically it should last at least 48 hours....with 5-6 hours of music over headphone just make the light senser option to the min, so the screen is bright only when it is required.

So, my frnds contacts NPD they send to nokia headoffice for service on
2-12-09 & the fault is nokia's so they are ready to replace it with new one on 22-12-09..... So,frnd dont waste the time pls visit NPD & mention ur mem card problem...
NOTE : pls strictly told them to took ur mem card for service & dont forget to ask ur manual service job sheet for service reference.. with job sheet number call nokia's customer care 18004253388 & told ur prblm and they ask ur job sheet no & IMEI no for service results....
So frnds here dont waste ur time & took ur prblm to nokia's knowledge otherwise ur prblm wont solved..

Nokia r u sleeping with LG where is new update hire some one from samsung or lg to make u r phones run in market no moving widgets or no good home screen nokia touch phones is inferior those of china phones wake up u r good only to launch basic phones which is your main focus,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,chutiye

Hey everyone i bought this phone about three months ago. The phone is good. However when you rotate the secreen it is very slow the sound is awesome and it has a goood memory. Sometimes when i text the screen freezes and goes purple?? I turn it off and back on then it is fixed but that only happens sometimes. The touch sensitivity isnt very good either you have to double push everything except when you text. I think that you dont get your moneys worth with the nokia 5800.

Camera quality is not as per standards of 3.2 MP, whereas if you see sony ericsson cybershot series phone of 3,2 MP, it is much better than nokia 5800.

Hey peeps,
Got my 5800 for nearly a year now. Been with it through all bad and good. When I bought this set, it was all wrong. The OS was slow, the camera setting was bad and lastly but not least, the touchscreen was dodgy. Infact it was a mess that I nearly swap it with Carls Jr. Thickburger. But on the bright side, this phone gave a promising touch at this price range. Since then, after a few updates, it seem that this ugly duckling has pretty much emerge as a beautiful swan. It is as if everything was 'patched' up properly. This is one of the fine phone I've come across with. Now if this phone packs up with higher pixel camera and slimmer and had about 1 in dimension larger, that will be much more sexier than a ferrari, keep it up.

What about the SMS?Will it vry anoying?becaus of full touch screen?(mean its vry slow in typing VS the keypad phone)i still panic in chosing 5800 or 5730...haiz..
