goshi, 04 Oct 2009i am using it and so far i found this set a best set of its... moreI dont think that :bug free applies to this model nokia,,the 5800 has more bugs than a fruit tree,,,terrible phone,just awfull,,worse than the motorola v3 series,

Its a bit too bulky. I am gong for the 5530 just because of that. And I dont need 3G now, as WiFi will do just well. I have also heard that the touchscreen sensitivity is poor. That is also one of the major drawbacks that has made me go for the 5530. I have already used a lot of touchscreen phones, KU990 viewty being my current one. Also, the cam is poor of the 5800, and as I am already using a 5MP phone, I will obviously compare the pics to my current phone. So I think that if they release a new model with the same specs, but a slimmer body, I will obviously go for it.

Can someone confirm that it supports opening PDF files ? and does it support printing document files i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
Also where can we find list of applications available for 5800 cell phone.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Nils, the scenario about differences of 5800 and 5530 is simple. If you need 3g, bigger screen, bigger bundled memory, wider screen go to 5800. 5530 comes with better bundled headphones, so you don't need spend extra money to buy a good pair of headphone.

I absolutely positively love this phone!!! I think its one of the best phones ever!!! It has everything you could think of. Honestly, to me this phone and the n97, the best phones in the world!!! Fantastic job nokia!!! well done!!!

I like this phone and am buying it in a day or two.But, before I get this....I wanna know would 5800 have slows down or become heavy with the 16Gb MicSDcard.Can anyone assist me the sooner the better,the quicker the best...

hey guys . Am facing a seriouse and irritating problem in my 5800 set. When i on the screen from the side locker it some time get black with some red and white lines , i'll keep on and off the locker for many times untill the normal screen come. , and for ur information the set never been fallen from my hands. i have this phone for 15 days and it`s made in hungary my friends got it made in finland the only diff between them is that my phones is alot worth in gps i have to stay in a very opened place and it takes about 5 mins to find the position and in maps it is very hard to find a signal but every thing else is great , did any body face this problem like me ???

i am using it and so far i found this set a best set of its kind and i realy suggest it for all those who are looking for good inbuget and bugs free touch screen mobile phone .seriously i m loving it

I used 5800 for 5 months and I can say that I was glad to have it. But it good for internet and music. Has a great speaker and sound qaulity. It is too thick and the material used is not that good.
