Vivo, 22 Sep 2009oh my God.. My 5800 hav just crashed.. huhu..
my shortcuts... moreDon't worry, just do hard reset.
Make sure you have backup everything.
How to hard reset:
- Backup your data
- turn off the phone
- hold red, green & camera button all together while pressing the on/off button.
- hold those 3 buttons until you feel the phone vibrates and on, then you can release them.
The phone will reset back to original setting like when you first bought it.
After all the setting, just restore the backup.

everyone who don't know: it still has the TV out function, but it doesn't just come with the cable. I bought the cable separately and it works, it gives me TV-out option when connected. I have v31

abc, 23 Sep 2009While I am playing mp3 music and I press the volume up/down... moreya it needs a firmware upgrade but dont do it yourself get it done by nokia care.3 days before i did the upgrade myself and my phone was dead went to nokia care and they told me that the lcd was damaged it will take 10 days for a new lcd to come waiting for days to finish and get my set back.

I will never say that tv out is useless. But i'll always say that it's a tiny little bit more than useless. Trust me people, connect it to your pc rather than tv, you'll find out that there's a lot more you can do with it. Try it. There's always a first time. Stop crying infront of the tv and haul your arse infront of the pc.

This is a good phone. But there are certain things you must do when you buy it. As soon as you buy this phone, open the factory seal carefully, take out the earphone gently and throw it in the dustbin or trashbin or recyclebin. Be careful not to dispose it indiscriminately. After that buy a decent earphone preferably a good in-ear earphone. Only then your phone can be called 'xpressmusic' phone. That's what i did.

O.k dnt be confused its the worst touch i had & back to my trusty e71. Believe me. I m nt ur enemy.& who told t.v out is useless.? Watching vids,images, surf the web on a huge tv screen is a joy.Recent 5800 doesnt have tv out. Confirm

I have just gotten the Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic phone from Future Shop store with Rogers service. In the manual, it doesn't say what components are included with the phone. Is the car charger included with this phone? thank you

i work for technical support for h/s trust me 5800xm is a good phn so dont be confused before purchasing this h/s as Nokia is planning to release 3 software for this phn by May2010

i finally got back my N5800 after 2 visit to the care center for my hp repair after i bought my hp in less than a month.
The 3rd time i went was to has the tech to 'clean' up the dirt that the tech leave behind on my screen.
As i was there at the nokia care centre, i overheard/saw a customer scolding very loudly at one the service counter.
His new hp N97 was brought for over thousand dollar and he had made 4 trips to the repair center in 2 weeks!!!
This is the 2nd time i saw a customer shouting at the customer service officer
either their products are of lower quality or their technicians lousy!
next time i'll think twice before buying a nokia products...
