this set can play flv files flawlessly. only avi cant be played.but watching videos on 5800 is fantastic.

I agree with Raj, Nokia Care is pathetic. If your Nokia shows a problem, Nokia guys are of no use.

Useless phone: with in 2 days display disappeared. The phone is with company for 20 days and the company is not giving a date when it will be able to return the phone. Nokia Care Center termed the fault as a manufacturing defect, no further detail is given. I had send several e mails to Nokia, but no sensible reply has come from it.

Deepak, 05 Sep 2009Just looking to find out if the handset can play Flash Vide... moreThe phone does have flash lite 3.1 but cant play .flv or avi video files. You can try a third party app like 'smartmovie' but its not yet really optimized for the 5800 so it pretty crappy on it!

brought AP set and didnt include the stand and the protect beg... but i think is worth... the original and ap set price dif about 200MYR...

Just looking to find out if the handset can play Flash Video(.FLV) files downloaded from youtube etc, without having to convert to mp4.

Your phone cant get infected and crash! Its not 'immune' like someone side. Especially through ur bluetooth or unsafe websites. U can get F-secure free trial through ur phones download menu or get Kaspersky which am using on my 5800 and is just outstanding! Through this link kaspersky.com/productsupdate?chapter=207716169
