Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

I got my 5800xm 3 weeks ago. now I'm stuck w/ it.
here are my problems:
*files suddenly lost, but it still occupied space
on my memory.
*music player won't re-fresh for a new music download.
*gallery and photo editor,when open,it close it self.
*5800 corrupted lots of my files.
*standby light are blinking (not the breathing mode)
even no new message or miss call on the phone
Now my 5800 is in the hand of nokia care center philippines. Software problem they say, but its a 3 week old phone, and its giving me a lots of head ache. Many of my important files are lost, I have no phone right now, And i'm stuck w/ this unit. I hope when nokia return it to me it will be a unit head ache free, or else i dont know what to do, maybe return to them exchange model unit. If they do not have this option i call DTI (department of trade and industries) for help here in the philippines. I'm an unsatisfied costumer

I bought my Nokia 5800 last April 27. In our country it was PHP 17,500 or USD 365. Now the price has dropped to PHP 16,000 or USD 334. So I think its worth to buy it now or you'll just wait by December if nokia store or other 3rd party vendor offers a Lower Price on it...
As of now for 4 months, I am very pleased with this gadget... =)

People, please help me, I have a question about this phone, I live in Mexico and the oficial price is ridiculous, they are selling it for about 750 dolars, but an online community is selling it for 350 dolars, the main difference is that they call it "Europe Version" or "Edition Black", and the lack of the blue/red stripe around the phone. My question is: is this an oficial edition from Nokia? I´m still searching in the web, but I haven´t found anything that confirms or denies it. Please help me, I don´t wish to pay an outrageous cost for this phone.

From a few, and looking at the review from GSMArena, I'd say the LG KF600 has a pretty good camera.

Don, 30 Aug 2009The LG GM 200 have better sound than 5800 xm . You dont bel... moreDon't have the GM200 phone, but by GSMArena's own words the sound quality of the 5800 is "some of the industry's best".
Even if the Gm200 does have a 2.1 speaker setup and Dolby Surround Sound Technology, that's all.
They're not on the same class.
The 5800 is still very good in regards to sound quality, it's a smartphone, has a better video support, plus a bigger screen, comes with an 8GB memory card, it's memory card slot can read cards up to 16GB (compared to the measly 2GB read limit the GM200 has), alot more input methods, better resolution and I'll bet picture quality, has 3G, GPS, WLAN and TV-out, has a better camera with better video recording capability, can read and edit documents, has a secondary camera, better games and phonebook, and having S60 it has one big user community, always making great new games, themes and applications.
So all the GM200 has going for it is the speakers, which as good as they might be, don't make up for even a tenth of what the 5800 has in terms of features, besides having great speakers as well.
The GM200 is an mp3 player with the most basic phone capabilities. Hence the small price.
BTW, my mp3 player (can also watch videos) has 8GB of internal memory, with a slot for a card of up to 16GB, and has a 2,5 inches screen, which is bigger than the GM200's 2,0 inches.
So for a music phone, the GM200 is quite lacking in regards to memory. Even if it can hotswap memory cards, it's still a hassle because of the 2GB limit.
Roughly speaking, they're not on the same word, line, paragraph, chapter, book, bookshelf, section, wing or even library.

I've been using Nokia 5800 for 6 months and have the following problems:
Opening at top right corner; First day
Bad earpiece; After 1 month
Bad speaker(left); 3 months later
Bad display(parallel lines while unlocking); 6th month.
Please i'm getting worried and need serious help. Has anyone xperienced these? how do i fix this? Thanks

is there anyone to confirm that the cpu is really increased after update trough nsu why and tell what show x-plore and phonetinfo on 5530 they show 434 mhz what show with 5800

I want to know how can i download the latest version using wi-fi, because when i dialed *#000# and i press options it said that i need to configure a server or something like that, so...i want to know exactly how can i update my version using wi-fi

acehigh, 30 Aug 2009i obtained my 5800 unit last june 28, 2009... and every mon... moreFirst format your memory card and remove it.then dial *7370* the phone will ask,restore original setting ,press ok,phone restart automatically. then put the memory and put the videos try it.it works in many phone.

When im using my camera in dark places whatever settings i used to turn on the flash the pictures will appear dark? does 5800 have issue taking pictures on dark places?
