The LG GM 200 have better sound than 5800 xm . You dont believe me please try . Very cheap rm 440.00

My partner has just got one of these and he can't get the writing for text msg only numbers. He is away at the moment and could do with being able to text but he is not at all phone literate lol.
Any ideas please?

i obtained my 5800 unit last june 28, 2009... and every month somehow all my new video clips that i acquired seems to auto delete.... what seems to be the problem, is it the unit or just the memory----- my software version is v11, huhuhu!cud some1 help me on this??????

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2009ya actually they are removing things and cutting down price... morei doubt that they have sticked that it doesnt support in this version but it guess it will support in the old firmware.
and surprisingly they have not instaled the pdf and ms office(ms word,ms exel, powerpoint )
but its not a big deal.finally the new users need to spend some time with the internet:):):):):):).

badrinath, 30 Aug 2009frds my mobile is facing problem in message. when any msg ... moreIf u have saved ur contact both in sim as well as in phone memory deleate any 1. keep all ur contact in ur phone memory or in ur sim.If this don't solve ur prob try formatting ur phone. hope this helps u. ;->

How can I update my phone to V30.xxxx?
Currently I am having V21.xxxx
When I go to Nokia website and enter my phone's product code(written on the backside, beneath battery) the website says that new update V30 is available but when I connect my phone to Nokia updater, it says that the latest update is V21. Help me out!

when any msg comes its not showing their names but its just displaying their fone no.also same while delivered msg. can i get any solution fot this from ur side?

phone is unbelievable as a media player which is what i guess it was designed for so you can understand why they made it touchscreen - to devote more spacefor watching videos etc. Unfortunately itss really annoyingto text on, my thumb is too big for the qwerty keyboard, handwriting is a cool gimmick but seriously who is goingto txtlikethat and that leaves the alphanumeric which has no tactile feel so you have to look at where your thumb is + whats getting typed

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970both have pros/cons. N79 has better camera (5MP), FM transmitter, costs bit lesser than 5800.
5800 has large touchscreen, and has better audio qualities.

so no tv out cable,no case,no stand but i think tvout feature is still there just check it with a tvout cable.

Sud., 29 Aug 2009hey gues i m really gettin confused between these new two t... morehey i just bought it yesterday its really great better buy the 5800 itself it has many preinstalled software like smart guard etc but the only problem is now it doesn't support the tv-out and they dint gave the tv-out cable,stand,case. and the rest is great the touch sensitivity is really great

difference b/w 5800 and 5530
1.5530 no 3g
2.no gps
4.4gb card whereas 5800 has 8gb
5.only 2.9" screen compared to 3.2" of 5800
6.no tv out feature(5800 has this feature+bundled tv out cable as well)
7.no extra stuff in box like stylus,stand,protective case
8.poor battery
9.stero headset of 5800 is slightly better in quality
10.all bugs fixed in 5800 as it has been around for long time whereas this is comparative new phone and will have some bugs initially.
and btw kinetic scrolling and new homescreen is coming to 5800 soon with new firmware update by end of next month.
price 5530 is 14k+taxes while 5800 sells for 16k here in india still does anyone has doubt about which one to buy.5800 is better value for money.
