at first this phone seemed like excellent value for money, especially for what you were supposed to get in the box. imagine my surprise when i open the box and find a phone, battery, 1 x stylus, 1 x plectrum and wrist strap, charger, manual, headset + "remote", tv and audio out cables and a pathetic little dvd with nothing worth while on it. no stand, no spare stylus, no pouch. when i phoned Nokia i was informed that they changed the packaging s it was their right. at least they could have notified us, the consumer about this decision. no real software on the dvd. everything you neede you had to download off the net. camera was kinda ok for daylight pics, but forget about taking pics in bad light... and let's not even talk about night time pics. sound is kinda crappy for an xpressmusic edition phone. lots of speaker warble at medium sound intensity. no decent media player nor even a proper video player. no pdf reader, you have to buy it as an extra afterwards. why not at least add a decent video player. now, in stead you have to sit and convert each item you want to copy to your phone - and this normally takes in excess of 2 hrs per title. conclusion : even though it was branded as an iphone killer, nokia failed dismally - just becuase they could not keep to their promises. if they went to a little more trouble to give the project a little more effort they could have succeeded. after 5 previous nokia phones, this will be my last nokia, thanks to their loss of integrity and dishonest marketing and software hickups. one word can sum up the whole effort by nokia ... PATHETIC

My phone has stopped sending messages. Not sure if my daughter has changed something with the settings, but its just saving them in the outbox and not sending them! Its doing my head in, can anyone help? Please!!

The music that I load when phone is connected to PC in Mass transfer dosent reflect in the music player of the phone. Any help in overcoming this problem..

so guys here som gud news for5800XM users.
I gotta news 4m other site dat nokia goin 2lunch da next firmware or it bringing k.scrolling,home screen,cpu speed faster den v30,camera'll improved & much more. They'll resolve da all system but they not fixed firmware version or when is comming but they post it'll comming soon..

For all who are afraid of buying this this 4n because it is only have a touch screen key board..
I also had the same fear!
But trust me guys!!! This 4n is smooth as nothing! Very easy to handle!
KEy board handling is just WOW!!
Trust me and go for this!!

chai, 09 Aug 2009it dun hav much more different in v30 update. some ppl say ... morehi you are right !! i have already updated my ph ver to v30 but ni diff.in term of sounf quality or camera firmware .. i was thinking they will add PDF reader as upgrade in this firmware ,, its much nedded..

Anonymous, 01 Jan 19705800 is better than g900. Screen is far wider with high resolution. Music, video, web browsing are awesome. Messaging is ok that 5800 has multiple inputs. I thought before i had 5800 writing email/sms was hard but after came in my hand it's easy. So, 5800 for sure.
