Ihave 5800 XpressMusic, one day all the functions stopped sudenly. My dad took it to Nokia workshop, they said motherboard is out of order. They will not repair it, only replace the MB, it will cost about half of the amount of new one. Anybody can advise a resonable method for repair.

Dila, 18 Nov 2011I have nokia n73.but i hope 2 buy a nokia 5800.so nokia 580... moreDIfference between N73 and 5800: 5800 hav Touch screen, wi-fi, GPS in addition to N73. And hav all the features of N73. Music player is comparable. camera is better in N73 than 5800. All other things are almost identical. On the whole it is a great phone(with 8GB Micro-sd card) in this price point. Go ahead. awaiting ur reply....

Why won't my update proceed? I am updating the software of my 5800 and it won't proceed :( please anyone help !!

@Fabrizio: How did u compare Galaxy S2 (giant) with 5800?
S2: Dual Core 1GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 4.3' SuperAMOLED capactive screen, Android 2.3.5 with upgrade to 4.0 with WifiHotspot, etc features. WOW!
5800: 434 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM, 3.2' resistive screen, Symbian s60 with no upgrade, No advanced features.
I used 5800 for 1.5 years and its truly a great phone :) but noway close to what current android devices offer, leave alone S2!

i have this phone since 3years ago and its still working perfectly :) best phone i ever had. Except the camera. . Also the wi-fi is a great advantage of this phone.

I'm using this phone since 1.5 years and loaded lots of apps to it. The major fault I found is its multiple marking option and camera sound.

Best cell phone I ever had. I owned various Nokia models, and Sony-Ericsson, Kyocera, etc. This is the best of the pack, and an incredible bargain for the high specs included. Even the Galaxy SII has more or less same specs for three times the price.

Nokia 5800- XpressMusic is an excellent phn.i m really recommend this phn.i m using this phn abt 2 years(without warranty) still no problem here(500 + call hrs).
i update this phn frequently.with my wifi connection
battery still working abt 2-3 days.high quality phn speeker sounds.vdo cam is very good.internet connection is very fast(WLAN).ovi store is grate.large number of apps.
almost everything is ok.good to buy.A++.im hope this helps!!(SL)

Music quality better than n73.
Touch very easy good working.
Best internet experiance than n73.
After all good handset and u can buy it without confusion ok.
