this phone is great "BUT" thats where it ends
i had an n78 before this and it does more than my 5800
because its v3 so all nokia software is available for it my 5800 xm i cant even get internet radio forget about no skyfire no neo reader no fm transmitter every time i find a great new app its not available for v5 im ready to give up this great phone because its only as good as its apps

hello, to day i wanna make a review of nokia 5800 xpress music. i used this phone(true story)
pros:
1. remarkable and superb audio quality. clear bass clear treble clear vocal. what can you asked for?
2.responsive touch screen. i dunno why anyone complain about the touch screen response. its fine for me. its sensitive even i light touch the screen.
3.nice auto rotate. can use full screen mode just rotate to the left.
4.messaging is cool. its responsive and very fast response its like using a normal phone.
5. nice handwriting. its showed the alphabet perfectly although you write a bit sloppy
6.video quality is superb best.
7. it has wi fi and 3g. very good for big screen.
8. cool swap to change photo in pictures application.
9. games also cool. it has a racing game you controlled it just like iphone
10.reasonable price. in malaysia is just 1330(in nokia original store
cons:
1. auto rotate is not the best. nokia n79 has better auto rotate.
2. weird placing stereo speaker. its on the left. not right. if you rotate the speaker is not a music stand. unlike n79 the stereo speaker is on the right.
3. lock slide key is a bit shaky. afraid it will peel off someday.
4.not consistant touch screen. some part you tap once but other application you step twice. for example when you go to menu music tap once and go to music player tap once but when you want to choose artist,or all song etc. you must tap twice to access
5.suprisingly the image quality is not really good. its only good in daylight not at night.(come on its carl zeiss optics how come it will be that bad camera quality)
conclusion.
i reccomended this phone for all music lover. it has one of the best audio quality ever better than sony son. but for imaging. choose other handset. this is a true review andi'm happy with this phone.

no nokia's vibrate when on charge, i dont know why maybe because it is saving battery while charging or something but all nokia's dont vibrate when on charge

Bad Experience really camera really pooooooooooooooor quality ,,,,,,,,picture are just like 1.3 mp camera quality yesterday i purchased going to sell in greay market for 13500/only i cant take this worse quality camera,,,,,,,,,gooooooooooood n73 picture quality is fablous no where near to that friends please dont buy this china phone for 19000 ,,,,,,,,,,,,n73 much best and betttttter then this

the touchscreen is really bad,is a crap,u need to touch the screen hard for type a text or if u want to go to any application,doesnt matter if u already calibrate the touchscreen,SAMSUNG is much better;Ive been having different NOKIA models before,but these one doesnt fill my expectations;keyboard is so tiny;the speakers sound is not really good,NOKIA N95 has better sound,Im regreted to bought these phone,one more thing is made it in China and supposed to be a phone for USA market

Hi, i've had my 5800 for 2 months now, but i have stil the persisting problem where not all of my pictures upload onto the gallery, when it does once in a blue moon, all the pictures are doubled, so theres two of the same pictures, what folders do you guys put your images in?
