Guys HELP please...having firmware v11.0.009 was try to update but through mobile update chel was sy No update available ...!!! where is a problem guys, shouldnt be v21 or so? Help pls Thx

I think this phones is one of the best Nokia has ever come out with. It is user friendly and fun to use with all the functions it supports. I was a bit disappointed though when i found out i couldn't use Office on this mobile although Adobe PDF works just fine !!! My fav feature is the GPS.....

dont be such a drama queen... i also have it and isnt that bad.. the only thing is the low audio in video playback and the camera, but i think its still ok

NOKIA 5800 = Kid toy !!! Poor cheap plastic housing, poor performance,poor audio and radio !!! Will change it soon ....Good luck !

hi . i m planning to buy this phone.. my budget is 20K. i am just confused whether i should buy this phone when Nokia N97 is about to release.. any other phone in market .. better than 5800 and in my budget ( 20k).. pls respond to this thread..

when playing videos the audio is VERY but VERY low... why the hell is that? is there any way to make it louder? its at maximum volume and still its too low...

download it from ur phone.... menu-settings-phone-phone management-device updates-then finally check for updates, it will say v21.. u just update it and there u go.. u need wifi so be close to a router

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2009can any1 answer?y is it i cant download the v21, mine is v1... moreyou need to install the cd. and then update your phone from there. downloading may take a while but it's worth it. :D

ive been using this phone for 3 weeks. so far, i dont have that many problems with it. the resolution is excellent and audio and video quality is perfect. typing messages can have a little bit of getting used to for the first 2-3 days but it's okay. graphics are not as flashy as other touch screen phones but the speed and the simplicity compensates for it. screen is very responsive, too.
i only have 2 things to point out:
1. the quality of the camera is sometimes VGA-like. depends on the lighting. and the flash can be seen in the pictrues (on the edge), sometimes.
2. the battery lasts me 1 1/2 days only. i text the whole day and i also use the internet often but i think 1 1/2 days is too short.
overall, the phone is great. well worth for its price. i bought it for 15.6k Php here. i was thinking of buying a cookie or an iphone. i'm glad i chose this one!
p.s. if anyone knows were i could find an antivirus for this phone, please reply asap! thanks. i cant find any as of now. i guess it's too advanced? :))

can someone clear this to me....
i've heard that the volumes oftens starts to adjust automatically when one plays music using the loudspeakers....
BUT
its ok with the headphones...!! ny idea guys..????

hey, i just wanted to ask how can u put word documents on my phone. its given in the specification for this phone that it can read all microsoft office documents but it doesnt work in my phone. i have updated the firmware to v21. please i need an urgent answer.

rdandish, 16 Jun 2009can anyone help me,, how to download games for this phone,,... moreuse the internet, type in google (best to do it on your pc) Nokia 5800 applications. You will find a couple of links to forums/sites with download links for games (for free ofcourse). Or search the official Nokia 5800 page for downloadable content.
