the nokia 5800 is a great multimedia fone...watching videos is worth your time and the experience, good speakers and music player (umm...except for sometimes the music library doesnt refresh so well, this should be addressed!)
also, im impressed with the OS, smooth and soothing to the eyes!
like other negative comments, i wonder why can't the camera quality can be be standardized (does it entail added cost in manufacturing the unit?!)..just sad on its quality even they say its a music fone...but look its still nokia known for good standards..share your feedback on this...
on the hardware..quite fat and toy-like plastic...
overall, im happy with the fone since based on its functionality (touch screen, viewing experience, music player, web-experience , and other apps) it is then worth the amount i paid for it.

Hey, I've got this phone for 1 week already. anything is better and very good but the bluetooth is too slow when send and receive... does anyone meet the same situation like me? how to solve it?

I own this phone and think it's pretty good. Very clean lines.. comes with a good sized micro SD. Mine is running a GARMIN GPS but does sometimes hang... Unsure cause. Maybe due to lack of internal memory??

Well, I have this model a month ago, i expect more for this phone respect your 0S is in effect very simple and sometimes is easy to put a wrong comand, the accelerator could be a headache if not have a correct position, however the experience whit him is amazing!!!. I live in P. Arenas Chile, soo far of the rest of the world but the service of Nokia and the Entel comunication service is very fast.

I think you can use the camera as webcam in this application and send files over to your contacts. however, i have only used the IM feature of this app and as well not used fring before so i cannot give you a comparison between the different apps.

this phone run very well in latest firmware back up not more than 2 days.. when use camera more battery sucks...

NOTE: if ur playing a video on the phone and while playing u get a call or message.. the phone will freeze... ull have to take the battery off and put it again to restore it

IGNORE PREVIOUS ONE........
5530 doesn't have CPU. So it will not be as fast as 5800. So no one can say that 5530 is better than 5800.
