I've updated my phone to the latest firmware 21... but to my dismay my phones doesn't work well for example: u can not set the TIME anymore, it say 'System error' then u go to setting-date&time 'no response at all'. I tried reinstall...regret still the same...pls. anyone out there! pls. advise me...thanking u in advance..

Had the phone for about a month, bought from USA,to work on Telstra Next G.$US401, no problems at all, yet I haven't used it to it's full potental. I wish there was a one stop shop for app's, as with the iphone. Nokia's store is not at par with Apple's.

I have had this phone for 1 week and was bought from HK. So far my views are:
- built quality: quite good, plastic but solid build and light, my only complaint here is that the metal frame in the back cover that surrounds that LED flash and camera is a bit lose
- music: through both speakers and headphone, the quality is very good and loud
- camera: very good in outdoors with sufficient lighting, not so good quality indoors with insufficient lighting
- wifi & internet (not 3g): good and sensitive and responsive to detect wifi signals and hotspots, loads pages quite quickly but depends, no complaints
- call quality: very good, no complaints, clear voice
- battery life: very good, lasts on avg 3 days with moderate use
- functionality: very good but can have doc viewer pre-installed and more games with good graphics
- UI: menus can be a little tedious as settings are hidden deep within so many clicking is required

its as gud as an i fone i rekon dis wud b a gud fone 4 pple hu lyk music dont listen 2 those gay mutha fukrs hu says dis isnt a gud fone............

Actually i buy this phone cause many people say that many problems with the phone(5800XM).
Battery power still acceptable of course not like
E71 (more powerful).
With the price HKD 2350 can buy this phone there is nothing to tell about. Is totally Worth IT.
The Bad is the phone spec.
- Plastic-Rubber too much
- Camera is no hope. Nokia cannot beat SE camera lens at all.(for me camera is nothing, i have DC than enough)

Help me guys!!!!.
I already asked a question but no one replyed. My problem is that my nokia 5800 can only play youtube videos but videos on other web sites that doesnt play. Does any body get this problem? And what is its solution please help me.

I have had this phone for a month now and all I can say is that I love it.
*Some of the problems=
kinda feels cheap but does look great, and also playing games on it isn't that great, battery is ok though it could be better, sound quality with headphones is great but not as loud as my ipod. Hopefully I won't be having any other problems.
Maybe it's because my old phone nokia 6600 sucked so much (was the best at the time I bought it) so having this phone made me feel like it was amazing.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

a nice phone. Its hand writing recognition is great, nice touch recognition, good cam clarity, good features, install few nokia 5800 applocations like wave secure, smart guard, you are fully armed. But the cons, not a great GUI ocassionally my phone hangs, could not find apps as good as other nokia symbian phones, music nothing much different from my old pal N73. Yet catches from friends eyes a lot.

after i upgraded the firmware i cant recieve messages and the phone does not show my miss calls. does anyone know how to fix it?

in my opinion the only bad thing is the battery life and the camera... the camera is exactly the same as the nokia 5610... i know its the same cuz i had the 5610 b4
