Anonymous, 05 Jun 2009i never had x1 or diamond but i had an omnia and i hate it.... moreyup...u might luv symbain...but to ur knowledge let me tell u.the OS of N5800 is new one...d S60 v5..so there are very less games n apps available thr...yah m sure thr vil b more apps and games to b launched as the N97 n Samsung Omnia-HD as the same OS tooo....

hey Let me warn guys who are thinking of buying this phone if u r going for this phone as an alternative for the Iphone thn plz dont...u will surely be disappointed...

the only fault i found is the camera.
1 thing you should keep in mind in terms of software... If it aint broke, dont fix it.

The macro shots of the dog and the yellow flower are very good :)
Download the fullscreen version for better viewing.
For better results at night, just use Night Scene Mode.
For 3.2Mp and such a small sensor and lens, the camera is very good!
After 4 months of use, my opinion is that the Nokia 5800 is the BEST phone at the moment for the features/performance/price ratio.

The salersguys in the store (don't know if I can mention the name of the store) told me marvelous things about "the device". Untill now I haven't had good experiences with "the device".
It's hard to use, just a soft touch changes the screen, the suport is actually unexistent, the screen always seems dirty (a strange thing for a touch screen), there are not games available for this model, and so on.
If someone wants to buy an used "device" let me know.

this phone doesnt has good camera neither adobe n office as mentioned on this site. sound n video are nice though.

this phone is good considering its price and features. i'd it for 2 months n the only fault i have was the UI panel but it has been replaced at nokia k centre.i would it is worth of buying.

Can you stream audio straight of the net with this phone. I stream audio from liveatc.net on my pc but can the 5800 do it? I have a 6300 at the moment and it cant do it. Can someone try and inform me.

I have been let down by the 5800 with, the lock failed twice allowing the phone to switch on and off, screen going blank etc, the on off button packed in too. I am now on my 3rd phone and it has failed too.... great phone, poor reliablilty... going back to the good old reliable Samsung...
