I have been let down by the 5800 with, the lock failed twice allowing the phone to switch on and off, screen going blank etc, the on off button packed in too. I am now on my 3rd phone and it has failed too.... great phone, poor reliablilty... going back to the good old reliable Samsung...

is mxit gud on the phone are u able to touch screen type ... im not used to touch screen but i lyk the phone but all the bad comments i wont think i want it

Can someone comment on using fingers (instead of plectrum or stylis) ? Does this work ?

Hi! friends I have just purchased 5800XM in 18829.
Its a very good phone at music,videos,and entertainment...and also its S60 v5 environment is great and is going to be the leading OS after the success of S60 V3.
I suggest anybody buying mobile in this range should go for this one...
But the only this I don't like is its Camera...could be better...

By the way my phone version is v11...should I update..will it harm my contacts and any other..

i have used f480 everything is perfect design is 100time better than this phone. Except camera and OS that you will disappionted!

I have a Nokia 5800 that I bought some days ago. I regret my decision of buying it. Don’t know about the Samsung F 480. But the Nokia 5800 Music Express is a great deception.

nokia will never develop ngage for 5800 , crackers may able to patch it to work on 5800 , but how wud you play games then ? there arent any keys for playing games on 5800 !

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970if you bought the phone with a contract with a mobile carrier , than u wont be able to use it. but if you bought an unlocked version then theres no technical problem using it in india

Recently i've bought Nokia 5800 set which was made in HUNGARY.But i'm really disappointed after seeing the camera quality of it.My earlier N-73 set was far more better than it & N-73's picture quality was 5x better than NOKIA 5800.I can't understand how can be a carl zeiss lense quality is so bad like its??!!Its picture quality is poorer than any other nokia set with mp camera.Its just waste of money to buy a 5800.

It is the best phone, I recommend to everybody buy this phone, the applications are excellent and the definition of the screen is wonderful ... 5800 it is the best..
