i am using this phone 2 month already. this phone is quote good to me.whatever u online, play the music or the battery lifetime always never let me down . i just can say is a good phone for me.the sound quality is excellent compare with ipod nano i am using now.

HI, I have found that the Nokia 5800 does not come with any document viewers on the phone at all. I have found that you can download apps seperatly (just through browsing the catalogue in DOWNLOAD.

how can i lock my phone( other brand lock the phone but no one can answer until on the passwordand no one can see who call- invisble) now any one can answer my phone if i lock the phone, and HI-FI system where i can download. somany software not support to N-5800, i cant download the huge software, even games, sounds, languages.. etc.please advise me. pm_lan@yahoo.com.au

The macro shots of the dog and the yellow flower are very good :)
Download the fullscreen version for better viewing.
For better results at night, just use Night Scene Mode.
For 3.2Mp and such a small sensor and lens, the camera is very good!
After 4 months of use, my opinion is that the Nokia 5800 is the BEST phone at the moment for the features/performance/price ratio.

I bought my Express 5800 last may, 23th, in NY.
The salersguys in the store (don't know if I can mention the name of the store) told me marvelous things about "the device". Untill now I haven't had good experiences with "the device".
It's hard to use, just a soft touch changes the screen, the suport is actually unexistent, the screen always seems dirty (a strange thing for a touch screen), there are not games available for this model, and so on.
If someone wants to buy an used "device" let me know.

It is a nice phone indeed. The touch screen feeling is totally different. And there is tons of application and games to be installed.

I've been using Nokia 5800XM for about a couple of months. The thing is realised about people complaining too much is the build of this cell phone.
But i can honestly and sincerely tell you that it's not that bad, although the metallic build would be much appreciated. If you are smart enough, the reason why it's made of plastic is because it's lighter. Due to the size of this phone (a bit thick), imagine if it's metal... i bet your pockets will have a hole in it anytime soon. But the best part is, the plastic built is rather solid, except for the side doors(to put the memory cards and sim), which is pretty filmsy and could break if applied certain force. The main concern about this phone is definitely the UI. At many attempts, i cannot press certain buttons because it's not UI sensitive. Meaning, i have to either slide the screen or press with more force to get the icons working. This sucks, but after some training and 'feel', you will get used to it. For a first time user of UI, it would be rather frustrating.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970im sure that 5800 is really better than f480 and i saw the picture quality of f480 its not ok but if u mind i let you know a bout g900 sonyericsson it is cheaper and rally better for all users. just it dosnt have gps but great sound quality and good touch pad and ofcourse faster than 5800 and im sure about that.
