5800 , 30 May 2009Hey guys i really am looking forward to buy this phone but ... morei have this phone 2 mos now. yes it has video editor. and its good. the video recording is vga.. 640x480. it also has an option to record 16:9 proportion videos to fit its screen like dvd quality. 640x352 is the resolution fo that option.

People having camera problems, when no sunlight is present, try changing the scene mode to "night time with flash" even if ur in a lighted room, it should improve the quality substantially.

i bought this phone few days ago.This phone is a music phone.If u wana use its camera its "Bakwass",camera is not good even if it is 3.2MP. So check the cmera and buy it.

hello everyone... after reading all the views of all d users about the nokia 5800 i am really confused as 50% are saying it has many problems and 50% are saying its the best phone... so my request for all you people is that kindly suggest me that out of the 3phone which one i should go for-n79,e71 or 5800xm..

got this phone today guys.. Its so great! The music was excellent, believe me! The screen is just awesome! Its clear and bright ang the graphics is awesome! The touchscreen is smooth, no noticable lag or delays... The net is fast... In fact, im using my fone now to write this opinion....

One of the best phone i ever used. I have been a Motorolla user and switched to Nokia. Phone is very user friendly, screan is the best one I got.
GPS work amazingly good specailly when i travel inside a vehicle it work great.
Music quality is also good but i doubt the headphone is not the best you can have in the market.
Very speady with 8GB memory card.
There are few concern i have too. No MS office software, lack of games and other applications.

Just to inform everybody..
Before you can update your 5800 to the latest firmware, which is v21, you need to install the latest NSU (Nokia Software Updater) which is now on its version 1.6.11..
The one you find on the CD is an old version, when you connect to the internet, it will advice you to update your NSU to the latest version..
