my battery life time is 2days with 3g im talking around 1.5 hours per day is that normal? ty

jeremy.mercado, 26 May 2009good day fellow 5800 users i bought this phone in our count... moreyou can update your phone by changing the product code with the use of a software..
product codes in the phils are not yet able to update..
i had a blue 5800 which has v11 before, but i was able to update to v21 after changing the code..

WORST PHONE N5800 and Never Bank on NOKIA Service center
Hi have a Nokia 5800 and it have given me so many issues in the last 1 month that not even all my phones together have given me in last 10 years.
Nokia 5800 -
Issue 1 : My screen went blank in just 30 days and the phone was rendered dead.
Issue 2 : Phone auto shuts down 2-3 times a day even after factory reset , so u will not relaise and the phone will just shut down.and it will not switch on till you removed the batter and then aain put the battery back.
Issue 3 : Connection Error the phone gives me connection error more then frequently , and just cuts the calls abruptly.
Issue 4 : Even when I hold the phone in Potrate mode the display is ain landscape mode.
Issue 5 : Need to charge the batter atleast 2 times a day.
And you know worst of all Nokia is not even ready to listen and does not have any avenues for me to complain. They are not even ready to replace my phone.
Worst is Nokia Careline .. I mean I have used all brands in the last 10 years and the pathetic leven of support that is provided by Nokia is really shocking... I seriously recommend never to buy a Nokia phone and dont even think of buying N5800.
Nokia does not have the skill and technology to build a touch phone and they have come out with just a fancy featured phone which does not work at all.

Compare N97 and 5800 specs - almost similar, but price gap is huge. If 5800 would have a 5Mpix cam, no one would buy N85, N79, N86 or N97. Nokia releases competitors for opponents, like SE, but not for own products. Think about it.
And SE, what you are talking about, is not full touch phone - it has few touch spots just for few multimedia software - that's all!

Nokias been shown up again with Sony Ericsson releasing a 3"Touch Screeen mobile with a 8 mega-pixel camera on it,Why?didn"t Nokia put a better camera on the 5800,showing that they are willing to compete with the High Class mobiles but still way behind,so hope we some improvement from Nokia as the others are showing them up

Daaaame this phone rocks... I have also N95 but this screen rules... cool design, great OS, works like a charm..

Use nokia download software and get the free quick office application.. but it will be read only and you can't edit files on it...to have write option also you need to buy it....

This is a really good phone with the new firmware update.touch screen is superb.i use my finger most of the time,sound is also great.can anyone tell me a site to download software for this

I love it 5800 model very nice and handy cell easy to connect thru internet access and very clear signal very nice 5800...i have it i buy 2mos ago here in saudi ksa..thanks and hope you have more and continous searching of cell more on nano technology nokia wish you to have a smaller cell and function's all about cell,usb,card reader and more to have easy to usd like laptop...post to soon pls.....chef jun
