Ashwani, 15 May 2009Dont buy this phone even by mistake, it has a lot of proble... morei really like this phone, its like a mini laptop. Its symbian os makes it more interesting, i fully recomend thus phone, only problem is the camera, its not so good
Compare to other 3mp phone, i have been using this since feb.09.

cedric, 16 May 2009doen the 5800 lags???does it usually restart while listenin... moreno my phone never ever restarts..it does't have this kind of problem

very good mobile
but the camera is not very good in the night
but at all i enjoy myself with this mobile

No it does not lag or restart while listening to music,mine hasn't done that even once.

I have used both iphone and 5800 Xpress.This phone is great and much better than iphone( you can simply compare them here on GSMARENA.All you need to do for getting connected to Internet, is creating a wep network by using a modem & router.mine is working well.It has considerably fast speed with both v20 and v21 software.
I've recently upgraded the software version to v21 from Nokia site.

I want to buy this mobile immediately.
i would like to knw whether this fone will outstand all other fones (of any brand, i mean touch screen), within the same price range.
and does the touch sensitivity cange with protection cover?
can any one send me the fotos taken with this mobile in my mail id??
and do u think it will be wise for me to buy this fone, in place of N79, i currently own

simon, 15 May 2009hi thanks for info is that where you are in asia?as ota doe... morefirmware update server for v21 is not yet opened for many regions of the world..it may also differ on the basis that from where the local importer of nokia 5800 handsets importing the phone and brings it to ur region...if ur handset is EU version or from middle east then its gona be simple to update it..servers of that regions are open for update..

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970W980 user, why don't you post your opinion on the W980 page? W980 doesn't even have WLAN! can you watch movies or even music videos decently by the W980's 2.2in 256K color screen?! and auto rotate display on a flip phone? doesn't make much sense...

@ MUNISH-i think it does support 16 gb cards.
@ Munib-yes the screen does get scratched if you use stylus more,so you are better off with a screen protector but make sure you don`t cover proximity sensor.
@ Amar-what it say when u try to subscribe to feeds?
@ balvinder-u can download v21 through nokia software updater or via OTA(over the air).
@ cute girl-Which app are you asking about?
Racing thunder game does not get erased or replaced after upgrade v21.

i have used the phone for about 2 months now,really satisfied with it.only thing i regret not doing is get a screen protector,otherwise phone is great especially music,videos part.camera is mediocre i would say but not as bad as some people say(like its worse than vga or something)
