I own an Samsung i900 Omnia. On this phone you can not add folders to the messaging function. Eg: I want a folder called "Jokes" etc. If someone sms you a joke, you move it to that folder!...... I will pay to have that function on this phone! If software were avalible i would definatly download it! Sometimes designers make correstions to software!!

am planning to buy nokia 5800 under two conditions .... one is its battery performance i mean its talk time and the other is its speakers effect i mean the clarity of the voice of the person to whom we are speaking even in noisy environment.. can anyone pls tel me about these two so that i can decide whether to buy this mob or not.....

Is there really a competition between phone manufacturers especially on touchscreen phones??? I think not!
Nokia 5800 has the right to be on the top particularly on functionality and best value for money unlike the ones using capacitive technology on touchscreens and 3x more expensive than Nokia 5800!!

Terushan, 15 May 2009Its up to standard...As an IT Proffessional i would say tha... moreI agree in part, it's up to the individual on how they research and ultimately choose which phone to buy, however upgrading the hardware or software in particular is certainly not useless, upgrades are improvement post release and hence cannot be useless, being an IT person surely you have upgraded PC's ?? please be serious and think what you are saying.

Its up to standard...As an IT Proffessional i would say that people dont really consider the facts. A phone is meant to remain as how it was released. Every phone is designed for a specific function and by upgrading sofware or hardware on your phone to produce a better result is useless because it was not meant for that purpose, that is why there are a number of series or models available to suite an indivduals needs. Therefore i think that people should not trash the product or the manufacturer because they bought a phone that doesnt fit thier requirements, you made the decision based on what you here and see instead of researching what the product offers.

U knw i've contacted my nearest nokia care point but they couldn't give me better solutions. Thanks a lot again. I'm using office suit instead of quick office. But adobe reader LE 2.5 NEEDS license. Btw this phone makes me happy all around:-)

guys both the nokia and samsung companys failed to acheive there goal this time, they tried to have there touch phones 5800 and omnia to compete aganist the iphone and they lost , that is why i bought my iphone 3g and it is perfect
