Got my 5800 last Satuday and I am loving it!!! Only really drawback is the camera. Even though it has carl-zeiss optics, it functions like a very ordinary phone camera.
Screen, wi-fi, GPS, and loudspeakers are great!!!
Built quality is good even though made out of plastic.
Nonetheless, still has the best value for money...

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I was a SE fan until I got my 5800. According to me this is the best phone ever. The SE you are refering to doesn't compare to this one - no hsdpa, no wlan, only up to 2gb storage, and the lists goes on.
to be honest i've had a few problems with this phone. But that is to be expected, all phones have problems.
Applause to Nokia for making a phone that runs fast, is fun and easy to work with with. And all the features you need.
On the camera, yes it is a low spec camera. But this is not designed to be a digital camera. For uploading pic and media you need nothing more than what the phone has. And it keeps the price lower.
The phone is called Express Music for a reason, its designed for music, 8gb storage out of the box, awsome sound. Nice big screen for watchin video clip or even full lenght movies.
All and all a great phone.

i like the nokia 5800 very much,because this has allthe features that have a good cell phone.i will ask to every one to buy this set.@@@@@@@@thanks nokia

it only only charged up empty to full less than 2 hours or less than 1/2 hours

where the hell are people getting the v21 update in the uk i cant even do it through nsu as it says error when trying to read it,can somebody tell me how to update please thankyou......

brynn, 14 May 2009thanks,,my dad has windows xp desktop so will try when next... moreI use Vista Home Premium, I use Nokia Software, always have and never had any problems with any phone, including the 5800 I have now. Maybe you all need a bit more IT development yourselves...

Nokia 5800,i just bought it yesterday,Superb Phone..sound quality awesome,all the thing is awesome,there is no problem for,except the camera,3.2 megapixel,but it enought and enought for me,the speaker rock all of my soul,compare wif s500 is nothing??U too 'Lame' i only can say,U just jealous!!
,tis phone i gif it 99%,1 more 1% is camera just 3.2 megapixel

menu,,,applications,,filemanager,,backup,,options,,back up now..
My games and bounce are still there but i will never swear that yours will be i am positive they are part od the ROM and they stay there as part of the original fone you bought..
To pdf ,,ecxel question,,,i downloaded adobe pdf reader to 5800 but not sure whether v21 adds it anyway?,I found out that the pdf reader and quick office missing and its because its ane express music fone not an N or E series device..However been symbian you can get these free just cannot think yet how..
