I have just placed my order for NOKIA 6111 but now i looked at the reviews about this phone. I m really shocked to know the problems that people have faced. I think there are more negative reveiws rather than positive. I would really appreciate if some of you guys give me a clear, honest idea that what should i do. One more thing that i never liked this phone but the offer was great so thats why i ordered it.

well, dont understand why the fone is not working for others. I have had mine for almost two years now, perfectly fine and had no problems at all. I love the fone and the pink colour is lovely!

I chose the phone for my birthday in August last year as my son has the same model and I liked it. However I had nothing but problems with the screen going white and turning itself off usually in the middle of texting. It was sent for repair 3 times and finally I got a replacement phone - which is doing exactly the same thing! My son's phone is fine so I guess there are a few out there without problems, but my advice would be DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!

I've had this phone for over 2 years now and I haven't had any technical problems. The phone is small, looks great, and problem free. The only complain I have with this phone is that the battery life is too short (average 2 days or less) and the speak is not loud enough to handle crowded areas, unless you're using the free hands-free headset the came with it.

Its an gud phone apart from the fact that it cuts out if u slide it 2 much!

I think this phone is really gud. Its not 2 expensive either, wich is great! It has great memory space and it stores loadsa games. I luv the camera and the quality is great. I wud recommend the Nokia 6111 2 anyone!!!

thinkin about getting this phone coz it looks pretty kool and the spec and stuff. ive read about all your problems with it. just wondering how much stuff u can store on it coz the memory isnt great eg. music/games.

this phone is baddddddddddddddddddd........never even take it for free....it cost a bomb and it never proved to be upto its mark.....its the most horrible phone that i've ever seen or bought......too many software problems....

when i first had my nokia 6111 it was great . Although i was a bit disapointed that it wasnt a very good pink . A very light dull pink more like . Everything was fine with my phone until two weeks later when i turned on my fone and the screensaver / wallpaper didnt come up . The screen was blank but i then thought oh well it will come back later . The next problem i had was my phone kept frezzing and if i pressed a button nothing would happen . Finally the phone would unfreeze but it took a long time . One time it was frozen for so long and it wouldnt even turn off i had to remove my sim card and battery to turn it off !!! My autie , cousin , and two of my mates have got this fone and they ave had simialr problems .. This phone is not as good as it looks !! DONT BUY IT !!

for the love of god do not buy this phone it has been confirmed by nokia that it has had major problems with it ,so stay well away

i had this phone for xmas and i thought it was brill , until the beginning off march. i left my perfectly working phone in my bag at work and when i went to check it the screen was just white , i didnt worry too much cuz there is no signal at work so i just thought it was that. however, when at home , the screen continued to remain white and all i could hear was the keypad tones. its still not working. turns out that the ribbon that connects the keys to the screen has tore. and it would have to be sent off to hong kong to be fixed.so im just gonna get a new one. a total waste of 100 quid. dont get this phone!!!! it also has crap memory .

I got my phone for christmas last year,
everything was fine with it and i loved the phone. until it started turning itself off during calls or messages. i didnt worry too much because it was always turning back on. but the other day i had the phone in my pocket and when i took it out the screen was white. i tried turning it off and on, taking the sim and battery out but the screen still remains white after many days now, i bought the phone outright for something like $400 and i don't think i can get a refund.

i just bought this phone 2 days ago, not sure any one of u have experience these before. Anyway my comments for this phone is as below:
pros:
1. very loud and clear sound,
2. handy features.
3. cute design.
cons:
1. screen turns white when sliding. (occasionally)
2. camera not working, need to power off then on to make it work.
3. experience painful fingers when smsing/using the phone for quite sometime.
4. auto power off when playing sound/tone.
Overall, like this phone very much for it's compactness...

well, my dad has the big brick version of this, && wheneve i go to his house i have to use his charger as my charger wont charge my fone...!
&& i cant remember the last time i used it wivout hassle.
when my mum got hers at crimbo, hers wouldnt even turn on.
i advise everyone, luks can b deceiving..!

When I was planning to buy a new phone, this little cute phone really attracted me. At the first glance, you would really love it, BUT.. as an advice.. First read opions/reviews on the phone that you will buy. Dont be fooled by its looks... what's really important is the performance of the phone. I am glad that I changed my mind in buying Nokia 6111, otherwise, I maybe so irritated by now because of its so many problems. I am glad that i end up buying Samsung X680 after studying/reading the reviews here at gsmarena. Great phone, i dont have problems at all. And it is much cheaper than Nokia 6111! You will get the value of your money, and free-headache!

well i got the phone for xmas and it is the best fone,i have ever had and it. i recommend that everyone should have it.
it has all the things i need as a teenager and i use it all the time when i am at home and at school ,even know i am not ment to have my fone at skool. it is the best fone
