TO Chaz,
I bought Nokia 6111 on 21 March 2006. Well, sad to say I also have a problem with it. The battery life sucks. It is stated 3.5 hours talktime but my talk time is only 1 hour plus.... can check under 'Logs', 'Call duration'. I hardly use the camera and video function. I have already sent it back once to rectify the problem... they downloaded the software again, coz they suspect it's the software problem, but the battery problem still persists after it was returned. Today I will be bringing it back again. *sigh* I'm so unhappy with this phone..

hi guys, i know this is a silly question, but does it let u customise wallpaper. cos omg.. i got the samsung e530 and it wont let - even tho it should. shifty stuff

hi i have had this nokia 6111 phone for 1 month and ahlf and in that time i have changed it 2 times due, to 2 different things.
first when my phone was closed it would wobble so much that i hate holding it my hand.
seconand phone the speaker was shot and i couldn't hear anything.
so i have a third nokia 6111 now and i have had it 2 weeks and not happy it's so wobblie, i hate it .
it feels like it's going to break not happy , and so tired of changing phones don't know what to do

It's a smart phone but when it comes to memory, it's just dumb. It gets full early compared to D500, also it doesn't give you an option to copy messages from the Phone Memory to the Sim Card.. It's not as good as it looks , I'M SORRY !!!

Cool little phone,even if its for women,my cousin has one and its pretty nice,give it a card slot and it would be perfect

I was really looking forward to using my new 6111, but after my third handset in a week, I am now giving up and looking at changing to a competlely different phone. Each handset has had a different fault, the first with the hands free connector damaged, the second an electrical problem with the keypad and the final phone I am about to return is just autmatically switching itself off and unable to receive calls.

i bought 6111 fro about 2 wiks. and i am a bit disappointed!!! it's very slow when opening the images.when i browse games for me to download, it will turn off and on.
i don't think it's normal. it's battery life is just for 1 day only. even if i'm not using it, the battery will decrease. i love the styles and all it's fun stuffs but not the whole package. i'ts maintenance is not good.
when you'll browse on the internet its features, MP3 is not available. and im wondering why mine has it. whew!
isn't confusing??
i love the flash effevt of this phone but not the quality of the camera as well as the video. do u think this phone is still good for u?? it's ur decision if u will still buy this. anyone may send their opinions w/ regards to what i've posted. and may also tell me some good qualities of this phone. thank u!

My friend was just like you, going through the same dillema and he finally bought it. And unfortunately he was not lucky and now the phone is dead becoz of the white screen peoblem. He was happy for week, just like some people here saying they got the phone and its working fine.
My point is it's a risk. You gotta be lucky to have no problem. So I wont recommend this phone. In my opinion, you should look for something else. Its a cute phone, but its sad that it has so many peoblems.

a brand new 6111 on ebay $440 aussie dollars.just in the last week or so im considering changing phones,spose i get bored to easy with em(hehehehe)ive gotto say ive like this phone as much as any other ive ever owned,which is about 12 so far in the last ten years

hi.. i can seem to change the messaging fonts to small.. the option isn't available to select. is it supposed to be like that? anyone has the same problem? thx.

Thanks 4 your replies Lexy and JV, I am still in 2 minds about purchasing this phone now, but as yet there is no other phone I would want other than this one anyway! If I do go ahead with my purchase I will be sure to ask in the shop about problems with the phone! (I just hope they don't let to make a sale) Lexy, where I am, I would have 2 pay £180 for this phone, u?

should i buy the 6111 or 6101 nokia phone?i am in a complete dilemia !! i saw a lot of bad comments on the two phones.. i wonder if the text messaging sysetem is good or not...

message details are availible just click on 'message details'while in the message to find out time etc...
in addition to my other comments i wont be suprised if my fone dones not last till the warranty expires(8 months to go)im pritty clumsy and am known for dropping it(only once in the first 4 months)i am pritty sure i wouldn't buy another!
what would you pay for a new nokia 6111 where you are chaz?

This is for Chaz. I got the phone about a month ago after they said all the software problems were now fixed. Well guess again, 2weeks after I got it there was a software problem. Bascially whenever I tried to get to my phone book (names and numbers etc) my phone would switch on and off. If you do get this phone make sure you ask about the software problems. I love this phone but it's been a realy pain as well.

just pick up the 6110, looks very cute,sleek and very beautiful infact i never knew is this beautiful, i have used it and am recommending it for everybody...............u'll just like it
