iv just got my new nokia 6111 to day but the sound donent seam to be that clear has any 1 else had same problem?

THIS PHONE WILL BREAK!
I've just returned my THIRD 6111 in the space of a month. Basically the slider breaks and the screen goes white! I think it's the ribbon behind - you can hear it crunching. I'm really annoyed because other than that it was a cracking phone. Really small, light and stylish. Hopefully Nokia will sort it out soon. I've got a 6270 on the way now.

mine i had to total discharge n full 8 hours charge for 2-3 times...the battery now last me about 3-4 days with normal use...try it it may work for u too..

Just wanted to know how often do you have to re charge the battery. I have had mine for 3 days and the battery is almost empty by the end of each day and i have hardly used it. Is it just mine or are they all like that? Can anyone let me know.

Finally I will receive my Nokia 6111 Silver Grey Firmware V3.45 before coming saterday!!!
I've waited since Nokia announced it. In the Netherlands it's now officialy on sale in all colors. This 6111 has been delayed with 2 months compare to other countries. So I expect a better version (hard/software) than those released earlier.
The 0-dialbutton bug has been fixed with 3.45 I heard...
But i've to wait till saterday...

I'm sure everyone here takes care of their stuff. Seeing as you have waited THAT long, you might have been lucky enough to get one of the supposed newer models with a stronger ribbon and fixed firmware.

This phone has the most awful ring tones I have ever heard! There are no Nokia originals and most contain awful singing!! Help!!

Back, to all users and those who are goin to use this model, do not be greedy, be like me, ive waited for a few months then i got them, been using bout a month already n my gf will be gettin a pink one by next week, NO problems and working very smooth and nice, to all who complained bout the sliding mechanism, how come ive got no problem, cos i take care of my things, and the blank screen, nv encounter one at all,speaker is very clear indeed, very nice ,NO regrets, to all those having problems, take care of your phone and your phone will take care of you..
Using black 6111 firmware v03.45,
A very satisfactory 6111 Singapore user.. bought from Nokia retail at Suntec City,
recommended to ALL.. PeazeOutyz

Beware buyers, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!! it may be nice at first but later on, it'll break down, the sliding mechanism is faulty and sooner or later rips the ribbon/wire inside and you will have a white blank screen! Nokia is good, but this by far is the worst phone. And the warrenty and recall only valid in some countries....USA does not.

my wife has a pink nokia 6111, she has had it a few days and evrything works fine....ha untill she tried taking a call. She can hear the caller but the caller can not hear her. i have tried invain to contact nokia and there about as much use as a chocolate fire gaurd. Anybody else exprienced the same problems?

i ain't being fummy but no phone can beat nokia 6111 i got a samsung phone and it's ok but i am bored with it already my other mates are getting it but they don't care what colour they get but i really want pink so i really begging you all please tell i will be gutted if you don't and if they stop bringing them out i will be really upset if they do it might have happened to everybody elese it might happen to others so plzzzzzzz x x x x x thanx x x

where people are saying they got problems with the phone i hope they dont stop having them out cause i really want one in pink as soon as it is out i will be there to get even if it takes all day so could someone write back and tell me please thanx very much loves you all x x x

Well ive had my 6111 just over a month now and have had no problems with it at all until this morning.. the sliding mech has got a lovely crunching noise inside and now the phone does not work at all.. i contacted O2 and they told me that the Nokia 6111 has a barrage of faults and is being re-called to fix these faults! So there we go people.. the phone is a failure.. congratulations Nokia this is the only phone i have ever had in all my years of being with you that i have ever had to return or had a problem with.. stick to making decent phones and leave the sliding phones to Samsung who seem to know how to make them properly.. if only the D600 had been made by Nokia - My advice do not buy this phone.. the guy who first posted about the cable inside many moons ago was right! now i am back where i started using my 6230.. whihc i might add has been going forever and still works.. i wonder if the 6111 will last as long.. i doubt it!
