I have been using my 6111 for 2 weeks now, and I haven't had to adjust the speaker volume at all. The phone arrives with the default volume set at half way, and you can hear inside or outside very well.

@ Bakaboy which colors are available in carphonehouse?
I want it in silver/white. I hope this color will be available on release...which is still not in Holland

I work for Carphone Warehouse, the phone is available NOW! However we only have it available on O2 and Vodaphone contract, or a hand set only price of £199.99

Well, I bought my girlfriend this phone yesterday and got it overnight'd here today. I've been playing around with it until I see her tomorrow and I have to say, this is a very impressive phone. Very solid and the design was well thought out. I probably wouldn't recommend this phone to a guy, but if you're a girl, this phone's for you!
Ergonomics are great. The menu is very easy to navigate and self-explanatory. It is also very quick - NO LAG!
My only complaint would be the screen quality. Not to say it's bad, but it could be better. There's a wide array of color, but the resolution is a bit low. It may be because I'm comparing it to my SE S700i, though.
Also, like others previously mentioned, NO EXTERNAL MEMORY!! Then again, my girlfriend probably won't use it (she keeps one of those credit-card-sized Sony Cybershot in her purse), but it would be nice to have.
Other than those two complaints, this phone is near-perfect. If the quality of the 6280 is anything like this, which I'm sure it will be.. goodbye SE, hello Nokia!

Can any of the owners of this phone chime in, and talk about how loud/soft its ringtone, recieving speaker is? Im just about fed up with my Razr, I cant hear it under normal outside abient noises!!

Man, I love this mobile! my dad went to italy and they said it s coming out in december! here in begium they still don t know it!... I love it pink!... but i think it will be even harder to find!

I live in the uk and have had my 6111 for 10 days now. great small phone, good features, and the new operating system works well. well worth getting.I have the black and silver one.
