To Hard reset
Type *#7370# in standby mode
Then u will ask for the secret code
(default 12345)
To soft reset
Type *#7780# in standby mode
..just like hard reset.
soft reset only reset your phone settings only.Messages,contacts etc. will not clear.
hard reset formats your phone memory and copy new files to your phone memory.(Like Format your hard disk and install windows xp to the computer).Before do this make sure you format ur memory card by ur phone.This will clear all your data,contacts,messages.Ur phone become a fresh new phone that u bought.

Try these steps
Goto Voice recorder in ur phone.
Select
Options > Settings > Recording quality > High
Set Memory in use setting to Memory card.
U can record 1hour if u have sufficient memory

Hi there, as u said i turned the phone on and pressed the green call button, the 3 button and the * button at the same time.but the fon didn't reset. may be i did it wrong. is there any other ways for reseting the fone? or i should try more that way?

I completely agree with you.E51 is better than 6120c in specifications.
(E51 has Wi-fi too)
It makes me a laugh that E51 hasn't front camera.How can we see other callers in video calls without front camera.This is the only bad thing.
I couldn't find E51 in my country(Sri Lanka) to check other features
Same symbian version makes both phones more advance.

E51 is better than 6120c.6120c is enough for a person who wish to make video calls, doing various things with symbian softwares,browsing internet,checking emails,can't pay more $50,poor like me. :)

In my opinion 6120c can take good quality photo with its 2Mega Pixel cam than 3110c.Some phones have 2MP auto focusing feature.These phones can take better pix than 6120c.Ex:-Sony Ericsson K750i
I agree with u.Sometimes we can't compare camera quality by Mega Pixel.
I couldn't find a sample picture taken by 3110c.So I can't compare with 6120c.Please send me a email including sample photo taken by 3110c.Then I'll compare it.

Turn the phone on and press the green call button, the 3 button and the * button at the same time. Its fiddly but it works- your fone will be completely reset...

How can I know the phone model version..?
If by prees *#0000# there is showed the V 4.2 or someother numbers but how can I know the better version..
If this is not the method please anyone reply me the method because i'm going to buy 2set of this phone model...

Just buy a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm adaptor- That's what I did. Simple.

i bought this fone b4 6 mnths ago this fone is gr8 has al featuers but its main problem is the sound the speaker are low and the headphones!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Will some 6120's owner tell me is the Nokia Music Headset HS-45/AD-54(the remote control with 3.5mm jack on it) compatible with 6120 Classic?
And why it's compatible with 6121 in Nokia.com, but with 6120 not-listed as compatible.
I wish a 3.5jack with not losing the remote mic and joystick(that will happen if I use the 2.5 jack on the body for better earphones)

Can anyone tell me how to record sounds for longer than a minute. the recorder that comes with the phone only allows recording of 1min.

SHISHIR (+8801717609809) from DHAKA. 6120's video camera is really great coz it record videos in mp4 format. It's screen is superb, blv me. It supports S60 softwares that gives me lots of fun. It gives true n fast internet. I am loving it.

Pls help, 4months with this phone and the media player does not work when i click on it. It was ok previously. I re-set the phone, formatted my chip, nothing doing. Short of re-installing the phone software, but it's quite expensive.. Is there any other application i can use to listen to mp3 on this handset? So that i can totally ignore the phone's media player. TQ.

This phone is great! with its average size, 2MP for a camera w/ flash(for those who wants better camera resolution, why don't u buy u Digicam); expandable memory; radio and mp3 player(if u'r lookin for the best sound purchase a ipod or any entertainment system w/ surround); 3g is so cool! but the ONLY thing sucks with this phone is the casing/housing which is enivitable for fingerprints... especially the black one. But in totality this phone is great!!!

try 1st d soft resetting and f doesnt work then do d hard resetting. Noticed also dat using blutot increases d missing phone memory used
