i donno this handphone is really great or not? i read some of the comments, some people says its not good and on the other hand it says that it is good?????which one is true?hmmm (can somebody help me, pls)

i like this handphone very much and i am willing to buy it and it have many colour u can choose from! interesting huh! thank u very much if u give me this handphone because its one of my favorite handphone!

When only using the phone for calls and messages, I get 5 days batterylife, which is ok for me.

Brill little phone, slightly diff navigation to other nokia phones hence i sent many blank texts at first. Can anyone tell me why some of the letters (mainly Y and W) appear in bold when i send or receive text?

its my 13th birthday tomorrow and ive been waiting for my nokia 6131, when it arrived
(one hour) past due time my dad went to activate it. unfortunatly we went with the F#@!wits at optus. when we rang up they could not put us through to a service manager to activate my sim card although it said on the activation paper they run 24/7. So if u buy the nokia 6131 dont make the mistake i did and go with F%$#ing OPTUS!!

Hi all,
How about sound of music on this Nokia one. Is it as good as SE W300i? i'm considering between them, Nokia seems to be better, but i still confuse 'bout the sound. I really need good sound.
Please answer if you've already got it.

nice phone, feels good in the hand. camera better than i was expecting. bad points are its fat! no memory and no micro sd card included in the package. gotta go and fork out for one now. also battery runs out v quickly. feel like ive gotta carry a charger round with me all the time. also as usual with nokia, no usb cable included with it. about time they splashed out and stopped ripping us off!

I saw some advertising that this phone can read Winword and WinExcel???
Anyone know wbout this, can tell me more?
Also is there any dictionary inside this phone?

So is anyone else having problems of getting the images from multimedia messages where the resolution is lower (smaller) than what they were originally sent as?

Just few questions: I don't know which to buy, this nokia or motorola e1070? I prefer nokia but battery ... Is there a chance that nokia will "produce" better battery for this nokia? Motorola has better battery, but there is a lot of people which aren't pleased with it. What should I do? Thanks for help!

this is a nice phone, good megapixel camera, and the expandable memory makes this phone one of the better phones in the lower end market.

N6131 has a resolution of 240x320 pixel, does that mean if i download pictures from a 126X 160 pixel hp it will appeared smaller? As had experience with 6230i, the pic don't cover the whole screen

Steve, Yes the phone has flight mode, go to Settings > Phone> Flight Query, then choose yes and from now on when you turn the phone on, it will ask you weather you want to start the phone in Flight Mode or not!

i just bought one 6131 today its god a really good loudspeaker and a very good fm reception better than the samsung x700 which i just gave back in exchange this piece of nokia is really excellent only problem is that the memory card has to bought seperately, it is not in the package

i don't understand.. having play around with 6131 again (and this time is much longer time), i really think 6131's internal screen is not that amazing.. for example, the WHITE color is so... unclear, it's not white anyway, it's GREY! how can you call it "white"?? there's some shading also in the display which make it not so clear.
gosh.. how can it be a good display if it cannot show black and white color perfectly. i think you all should play around with some Panasonic, Benq-Siemens and Sharp, or Samsung and LG phones sometimes to really see what GREAT display is...
this is just my other side story of the so called amazing 6131 screen. for anyone of you who has already got used to the brilliant displays from Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, LG, and Benq-Siemens, don't buy this phone if it's because of its screen! you'll be disappointed. ;)

Does the 6131 have a Flight Mode profile? Just curious since it has a built-in MP3. Thanks.
