Just tried out one of these handsets, and so far im impressed with the quality. It has a beautiful display, fast software and good speaker quality. I like the outside flip button activation, its a good feature. The design and shape are pretty good too, not too small and fiddly and well spaced out buttons. The large display and fonmt are perfect. As far as flip phones go, i would rate this over the competition. Excellent for Nokia.

If you need to configure for Live, just ring the network provider and they will forward you the data accounts neccessary. All you do is then save them to the phone and its done!If they wont save to the handset you might need to remove some of the existing accounts from the phone, to make room.

I've bought Sim Free 6131 and want to go with Vodafone PAYG. Am finding it impossible to configure phone to get Vodafone Live.
Can anyone help?

To Stefan,
Try to re-insert the cable to your fone and from your PC. I had the same problem like yours and what I did is a little adjustment on both connections. If this doesn't work out, turn off the fone and insert the cable to your fone and to the PC. Then turn it on. See if the software detects that the cable is inserted.

yah that's what it is for :) kinda cool feature imo.
makes it so much easier to answer phone calls when driving.

im just wondering...
what is the actually difference between active stand-by mode and standard display?
and also how it says you can have the cross with the icon and functions....do you have to have that show for it to work with the keys?

guys i have a dilemma....when i connect my fone to the pc via usb cable and go to settings-connectivity and i select the usb data cable, it says that i have to connect a usb calbe first?!...but it's connected!!!!!!:((((...why doesn't the fone accept the cable:((???....i want to transfer some music on my fone but in can't:((((....ooh...and the pc doesn't find any fone connected:((((.....plsss someone help me!!!.
P.S. the fone it's GREAT!! sound good,camera good, memory good, the battery lives for about 3 days and i'm happy with it!

its been said that 6131 has poor battery life... so i was just wondering if it was possible to replace the battery with that of n6125, since it has better battery performance... wat say guys !!

good day everyone.this question is to all nokia 6131 users.is there a limited number of text messages that can be stored in the phone?say 150 or 200 msgs then it will alert the user that message memory is full.or as long as there is available space in the phone's memory i can still store text msgs?hope u can answer my inquiry.thanks.
