se? well i have to say that i'm not a big fan (don't like the menu, don't know why) the se k750 and the 6131 are about the same price although the k750 has a better camera and it is said that it has a better music player but it has a smaller display... i guess this would be your best choice (ps i don't know the se models as well as the nokia models)

To n: yes. the music player works in the background while other applications run

To timp: i didn't get a cable nor a cd either. just downloaded nokia pc suite from their site and initially transfered files via infrared, but that us soooo slow. just bought me a bluetooth dongle for the pc and now use the software that came with it. transfers are now much much faster.

Nokia needs to relase a BL-5C battery pack version that would fit this phone asap!!!!
Too many features for a BL-4C to handle.

The Nokia 6131 has the potential to be one of the most sort after phones on the market today. It has a great grip, ergonomically speaking, the phone is fantastic. It has everything that the multimedia power user wants in a small hand held device. While Nokia has improved on the size and weight of the phone without having to compromise the features, the battery life needs to be compensated for the added features the phone has to offer. Phones have evolved a lot in the last five years and the battery power to fuel the features of these modern phones has not and if its one thing I know Nokia for is its standards for long battery usage.

However with the Nokia 6131, unfortunately the battery can hinder the impact it can have on the market. One of my suggestions that I have for Nokia is to introduce an expansion pack for the phone. This can include a bigger battery (or an improved battery) with the rear cover casing that can fit directly onto the current 6131, without the user having to replace the entire phone. Or introduce a Nokia 6131i, the exact phone with a better battery life and more internal memory. I don’t think that users would mind a phone with the amazing features of the 6131 with a little weight added to it.

gerwin > You buy a mini SD card. You get an extra 1 GB for around 40 USD.

yes, you can reject calls when the phone is closed... you press the volume key (doesn't matter which one) for about 2 secs

I wouldn´t call the low internal storage a problem when you can insert a MiniDS up to 2GB. The rather weak battery is a problem, and why doesn´t the external turn off when you are using the internal display? It seems to be a waiste of battery. In any case, I get 3 full days with 20 messages a day and 10 min talk, I should get a week with such a low use, like my old Nokia 6220 did.

                                        A decent, low-medium end handset,
unwise choice to combine a very weak battery to two very impressive displays,
what a waste this phone has became without the use of a decent cam to take advantage of those high consumtion screens,
the ridiculus internal memory and transfer problems totaly amputate it as a multimedia device,
its that Nokia cant present a decent phone only in the dimensions of the N90...
