Hi guys.. please help me. i want to buy a phone... my chioces are Nokia 6260 and nokia 6230. What do you think is much better? i need some suggestions... tnx!

i have had this phone since it came out and it was my first mobile phone.. i brought it when it just came out and think this is a great phone because it has everything.. but.. i brought the phone 2 early that the cd guide hasn't come put and i haven't even collected it coz i bcs! otherwise it is a great phone and the key pads are great!!

i got mine for 100 by phoning o2. they had a special deal on. they didnt advertise it though. :)

I have this phone since January and I believe is one of the best phones nokia has ever published. It has everything combined to its small size. If you have a big MMC card (I have 256MB) you are really going to enjoy the MP3 player(I have 65 songs and I can have a lot more, total duration up to 2hrs).I believe that the main disantvantage is the camera, which has no zooming capability. Also I believe that is a bit heavy but thats normal because it has everything on it. Great phone and I don't believe that the new 6230i should be published that soon. 6230 is a total bargain I love it, and as I said before, it is the best series 40 phone, I totally recommend it!!

Can any one tell me if this is the phone to get because I need to buy a new phone. And also can any one tell the lowest price they found (in pounds) for a brand new gsm non-contract 6230.

Had this phone 5 months and it is superb, slightly big and may be old fashioned but makes up for it with great performance and features.Why anyone would ever buy any other pohne other than nokia i have no idea, they are so easy to use and enjoy.

I am not able to delete .3GP video files from my nokia 6230 mobile.
I have also tried to delete the folder which contains this files.I am getting an error message which reads as " 4294967295 items not deleted". Even if I try to delete the individual video file I am gettin the same message.ever i move the folder to the memory card,but thr folder still there.
Please help me regarding this as my space is gettinf wasted uneccesarily.

i wanted to know how many mp3's will hold on the 1gb memory card. this phone is great, just check my firmware and its actually 5.34. can i watch a movie on this phone?

for any one who's interested to know about the nokia 6230 and the mmc card issue well...
i'm talking about nokia 6230(NOT 6230i)
with firmware ver 4.44 im useing KRETON 1GB mmc crad works like charm format it only through the pc no need for naming the card
the mp3 quality is very very good.
for memory space saveing (as if needed 1000MB !!) download a mp3 to aac encoder.
i'm running with it for about 60 min does'nt "burn" the battery at all !!
great great great phone (have'nt talked about all othjer features yet... camera radio etc'...)
go get it !

hey guyz, ive been told zis iz ze phone to get! im not so keen on ze design of it but it seemz to have lots of features and lookz to be a pretty damn good phone, am i rite?! oh and does anybody no y we cannot use words of a sexual nature on here? i take it this iz not a chatter room.. hmm?!!

you can change your video settings in the 'media' menu, to get more minutes of video recording.
go to menu -> media -> Camera -> there you can find something like 'settings' for the lenght of the videoclip, and you can change it in to maximum.
I don't know what all the menu's are called in English because my phone is in Dutch. Good luck

hi, i am planning to buy this phone nokia 6230, right now i am using moto e398... i just have a question, do you think it's worth it to switch over from motoe398 to nokia 6230? I need your comments about this... if you could also e-mail, that would be helpful. thanks guyz

the mp3 quality is very good, the longest song ive got is i think about 4 mins sumthin.
