When I try to turn on BLUETOOTH the phone acts as if it wasn't given a command to turn it on. Let me tell you all exactly what happens: When I go to the bluetooth menu, the first option is to turn it on, I enter that option, move the highlight to 'ON', press the 'SELECT' key BUT instead of turning on, it jumps back to the main screen showing BLUETOOTH off. It has never worked since I got my phone. I have FIRMWARE version 5.24 which I have read in forums fixes most of the 6230 problems, including the BLUETOOTH BUG, guess I'm just bad lucked.
Another (but minor) issue is that everything moves extremely fast! EXCEPT night mode. When I select night mode the phone takes a while to go in night mode, you can see the screen going frame by frame when nightmode is starting and when you capture a photo in night mode the phone takes about 2 seconds to show the 'Saving' box. Standard mode works fine, very fast and no lagging whatsoever. As I said before, the nightmode is the least of my problems, the BLUETOOTH issue is the main and most important problem I want fixed. However, it would be nice to know if anyone else experiences these 2 problems that I'm facing.

Every body! You can not recive a big file like an mp3 file, only if u have enough space in the phones memory!!Even though you have memory left on the mmc and even though you can store it directly to the mmc after you recive it, the file will be temporarly stored on the phones memory!So be sure you have enough memory on the handset before reciving a big file even if you store it in the mmc afterwords!!

This phone remains a very high competitor with other phones. The camera quality is excellent compared with SE K700i and can play mp3s crystal clear. Has a removable (and replacable) mmc card, which can be used to store mp3's, videos , pics etc. A top mobile which comes in an affordable price!

i dont really like the way my display looks !! i've compared it to other 6230 displays and mine has a lower contrast !! plese tell me if can i change the contrast !!

this is a very good phone, but the camera is lower in high quality image.
i wanted to buy this phone but i chose LG U8180...is the best!!!
with 264411 colors the internal screen and 65.536 the external screen...it`s wonderfull...

Hi...my 6230 freezes when the clock screen saver is running. All keys become unresponsive including the the power on/off key. How do I fix this???

When i try putiing new songs on my bluetooth it's telling me I have no memory when my memory card is full.

how come when i try to send songs to my nokia from another phone by bluetooth it says i have no more room but i have 52mb free in my memorycard

hey ,what's up u all, i live in israel and just want to say how much i love and adore nokia for it's really superb phone ,i had plenty of phone in my life starting in nokia 2120+ the old one ,samsaung and sony ericsson as well but the best i had is the 6100 of nokia and now i've got 6230
which is the very best ever was!,nokia is really the most famous firm of cellular phone god help it, and the most reliablle and efficient and elegance
and the 6230 is really nice,elegant,smart and small phone and really worth the money

i like the nokia 6230 but muy dad wont buy me one i think there really good phones with bluetooth and u can get a mmc memory card for it worth up to 512mb to 1 or 2gb and stereo ,fm radio,mp3 player,but there 140 to 200 quid my dad said he wud buy 10 if there came down to 100 quid it myt as well cos the new 6230 is out
