very good phone. i've always loved the way nokia has their phone book set up. moto, learn from nokia. reception is excellent. better than my moto 500 series. display is small and not that clear, a bit fuzzy. motos and other phones have better displays. sound is excellent, can't get better than this as far as sound quality and loudness is concerned.

What is the latest firmware? i seems having
trouble with this firmware? any idea. Have to revert to the old one more stable.

Hi all...Currently a User of the 6230, So far an amazing phone. I have always been using Nokia and i will give 9 outa 10 for it. I use the blue tooth dongle to transfer music and data thru pc, but the nokia pc software happens to have problems detecting and configuring the connection. Well its a great phone anyone could be satisfied using it.

Low camera resolution. Great sound. I like the keypad very smooth. My 6230 is pearl white in color. I have noticed that its color has faded considering my phone is 1 week old. any suggestion what color of casing is good?
i was very disappointed with its camera no zoom and i think it is the worst 65K TFT screen in its category available in the market today. If you are a camera fanatic dont buy 6230. But if you are music lovers grab this phon excellent sound quality.

Re: to deepsy.. hi.. u will be able to put songs in the phoen MP3 and AAC formats, but for that you will need a bluetooth dongle ot a nokia DKU-2 cable, or and Infrared connector. The phone records in amr format, ie when u record using the phone like a conversation or just ur voice, it will be recorded in .AMR file type . Anymore questions? do ask!

hiii..i mean planing to get N6230 so its u gays whos going to advice me that is my decision correct.ok and is it a speaker phone o not?and how will i be able to record and songs in my MP3.coz i m out of it as i dnt knw anyhting abt it so i'ill need u ppls guidence.hope so any of u will help me out.thanking u all in advance

The phone is great. Bought it in January 2005. A very user friendly phone. Loved all the features. By the way, i have this problem recording conversations. The phone will not record and it'll reboots by itself. Any advise on this?

Why 6230 didn't suport SymbianOS system?Maybe is an "secret agent" :-)
I have an 6230 and it's really great,but my Memory Card was crash recently when I put on it(with Card Reader)some .mp3's...and booom,dead

This phone rulz!!..but a serious prob recently..i used to copy paste mp3 files directly into my mmc but now my phone sayz.."file format not supported"..but whn i put small mp3 files into my phone memory..it works fine..i think there is a prob with my mmc..its the one i got with my phone 32 mb and i use infrared kit to transfer files using pc suite..any suggestions on this?..and are there softwares available for 6230 like we hav for 6600?

This phone is rubbish!! The screen is too dark when looking at photos. you have to tilt the screen down to get a good picture. get the 7610 iys the best lol

The card reader gives you the fastest way of uploading mp3-s on the MMC card. Just two seconds and the song is ready waiting in the MMC to be played :))))) 6230 - a superb phone with little bugs. there are some things that irritate me, but afterall it is a good phone and I don't think I will buy anything else in the near 3-4 years.

caller group is not working I tried every single way in the phone and in the PC suite software but simply not woking.
