i buy dis fone last 2 weeks ago,its a 3.30version!i get myself a new kingston 512mb mmc+ 4 it,n it works slow 4 pic in my mmc card!izit all mmc provide d same speed?n d mmc is using 3.3 voltage!n do u guys noe how 2 set d display's contrast n brightness?thx...btw,im using card reader 4 it,is card reader better o cable wil do?

Just select the wallpaper, ringtone and screensaver of your own. Then select the color scheme of your own. Thats it, you don't have to select a theme any more.

Well if you do that again in the the future you should cover your fone with insurance. I know that the vodafone policy covers liquid damage. What do you think of the video on the phone?

To Barbara, all you need to do to set up your vibrator, sorry vibrate! is go to profiles and choose the option or refer back to yr user manual if your still having trouble.

Actually ive got a question about the phone, where can i get cheap games to download? and is there a way of taking a clear video at nite? I cant find a nightmode option for video.

Its a really good phone, easy to use and stuff. Mine doesnt echo mat all, but it does squeak.

u can download themes from www.zedge.no but u have to register free first its great but its video recording doesnot have zoom and its camra is also bad in room and dark places

hey even im real buggd with d ascendin problem on max volume.. cant help.. i think audio vise the 5230 is better then the 6230i.. n for those free themes u can check out zedge.no . they got tons of themes.

To sensei. Mp4 is mpeg4 but at this cell phone mpeg4 is the codec of 3gp. This codec for 3gp converter is the best, best quality, but in my phone at 3gp stereo clips i can`t hear sound at 2 chanels - stereo only at 1 channel - mono.

mp4 is not the same as mp3 - itunes uses mp4, but it has a built-in-function that can convert any mp4 file format to mp3.

Does the display of 6230i is better than on 6230!? And what about Symbian phones 4 ex. 7610!? And where can I find themes for Nokia 6230i for free to download on my PC and then send them via IrDA?!?! Reply soon... InG Music Macedonia

Hi Guys, i just got my second repalcement of my 6230i.Its manufactured in June'05, my earlier one was of Jan'05. The phone sure is a lot faster in response than the earlier one. Got firmware 3.3 but the annoying ascending problem is still there. I don't know, it seems that the lower quality pieces are all sold here in INDIA. Its been 3 months i've had this model and this is my 3rd replacement set. Where is Nokia getting to. I'm sure i'll never go in for a nokia again, But i do have to say that such a good phone from nokia and nokia can't find a solution to the ascending ringtone problem. What are these guys doing?

I got this phone yesterday (Hungarian-made). I have detected 2 problems - there were no pre-set options for MMS configuration, not even 1 that I could manually set the settings given by my network. The other problem is the music player which cuts tracks and jumps to the next one.
Does anyone know how I could solve the problem of the MMS config.? Thanks.

hi, just upgraded to PC Suite 6.6 - its more stable then previous ver. go ahead & use the latest 6.6
