hi can nyone tell me if there is ny problem with the firmware, im considering to buy fone but ive been hearing alot about the problem with the phone shutting down and not working well as a modem for the pc, plus does nyone knw if the pc suit actually works fyn or not

hi everyone,.. i just got my 6230i a week.. n i just love it.. its an amazing fone.. i generally silike biggert models liek 6600 n 7610 n d likes... n now i fin d 6230i better then all those fones. great things always comes in small packages...
but u know wat i found a small defect.. i have my old 6230 too and i find tat fone givin better sound than the 6230i... hax anyone noticed this? apart from great fone.. lovely camera too.

I am satisfied, my 6230i work with 1GB MMC card (but it is for my mp3 archive a few), work with old games for 6230, for photo is very good.

it rings loud enough - i set mine on half. and i can hear it clearly.
more pixels better display.
therefore 228 x what ever is much better than 128 x 128.

I really like this phone the design, the features... but only if it had Symbian it would be perfect.. I'm thinking between Nokia 6230i and Nokia 7610 can u tell me which one !? And a few questions: does the ringing is loud (I have Nokia 3650 right now but the ringing is not loud (set to max)), and what do they mean by screen size 208*208 pixels, I think it is 128*128!? This is a very good phone. but, my phone do not play sound at 3gp stereo movies! only at mono sound - 64kbps or less i can hear the sound. for all users what use this phone you can hear sound at 128kbit or more?

To Bombay: If you plug in normal headphones then no, but if it's Nokia brand headphones (the ones that work on the 6230i then of course you can!

This is not a Smart phone like 3230, 6600, etc... because this does not have Symbian operating system

Hi does anyone know the official release date for this phone on orange pay as you go UK??? i purchased this phone pver a month ago online having been told it was available in stock and i would recieve my order nxt working day, i didnt so rang up and was told that it is not being released until 1st August, i have now been told that they have changed the release date but could not tell me when?

my friend has the moto v3and it is s36tui but this has way better features and i want this phone as an mp3 playerso this is perfect. but 1 more question, can u plug ear phones in when you are listening to music? if so plz reply.

i think most people in this opinion post would say get this rather than the V3, the V3 is boring, only has 5mb memory, no video recording feature (just videoplayback) and very slow blutooth, in other words if you get the V3 over this phone you will get bored very easily!

i am wondering if any can tell me if i should get the motorola v3 or this phone. the main reason i want this phone is because of its memory and i want it as a mp3 player. if you could reply that would be great.

MAC,
When you plug in the DKU-2 cable it will ask you "use phone as storage data?". If accept, no drivers as require and you can use it as separate drive to store files.
However, if you press reject it will become "data enhancement connected" for the usage in conjunction with the Nokia Suite. It didn't work properly for me until I installed the drivers as provided by the Nokia suite CD disc.
