hey mike man what are you thinking??? the K700 isnt even an mp3 player. well sure it has the feature but it only has 40 mb of internal memory and thats it. he he its a joke like everything else on SE phones. the max u could prob have is about 6 or 7 songs after you leave speace for pics or somehting.so the mp3 on the K700 is nothing but a gimmick. the 6230i has stereo and not mono like 6600 or 7610 and it sounds fantastic!!! its just the real deal mate.
Look no more! ask no more! this is the best you can get for your money!!!

Don't bother too much whether is 65k or 262k color, so long is TFT screen should be ok. No much different, I used motorola 262k color phone before not even better than nokia 65K color.
People here asked and compare between SE K700 and 6230i, how to compare and nissan car with mercedes benz. I owned K700 before, on the phone the picture looked perfect but when you upload to PC and see the big difference (white patches-low resolution as only 0.3 megapixel) 6230i 1.3mega and needless to said about features like mountain compared with the sky.
I think so far I have tried and used many brands and models, the best is still Nokia 6230i, close to perfection for a phone to be.

Too late,too litle!
Nokia finaly made a better phone than SE K700,
bad luck though, because SE now made the K750 with 2Mp cam and 265k display,
anyway as long as it writes NOKIA on it...it will sell to the masses

How can Nokia so good that they can produced such an outstanding phone of all time. The one and only one-Nokia 6230i.
I used my 6230i as voice recorder-so clear & sharp playback quality.
I used my 6230i to take photos-so picture perfect and I don't need any more digital cam.
I used my 6230i to play MP3-sound so sweet and so real, no need to buy MP3 player anymore.
I used my 6230i to write and send sms-so userfriendly and so efficient and can creates folders for different sms.
I used my 6230i to listen to radio and yet with stereo sound-so sweet and rich, no need to buy radio anymore.
As too many good points and cannot writ further-Best is the size of the phone-so small and yet so powerful (can expand the memory to 512MB without any hangs). Where to find one so good phone like it.

6230i doesn't have 3D speakers (has just 1 speaker)!!! and also NO Radio with RDS !!!

I think this 6230i is the of the best phone in the world. I don't use any brand except Nokia and Sonyericsson but until today I still can't find a phone better this 6230i.
Sonyercisson phone is good but not the user interface, motorola, siemens no need to say some more....nightmare to compose sms.
Needless to go further, Go for the very best and get the best of the best- NOKIA 6230i.

The phone is great but for most of us win ME users,there isn't a driver for us to install it.Thus it can't even be detected.Great phone but lousy PC suite...only for win 2000 and win xp,what is wrong with ME ??

upgraded the firmware of my n6230i from 3.23 to 3.3
...and i got no problems at all:D i'm enjoying every minute of it:)

Great phone, no worries with mine. Just wandering if anyone knows when the HS-6 headset is coming out in continental europe? Lost the standard one and don t want to buy the crap one days bezfore the good one comes out. Cheers for any info.

i just got my replacement for the 6320i. I checked it out it has firmware 3.3 and did not have any display problems and was not rebooting now, however the ascending problem seems to be still there. Although i got the replacement from the new stocl arrived in new delhi but it seems that nokia has not still ironed out the ascending tone problem. Overall it is a very good phone which quite a lot of features, yhe MP3 player is fine but the sound quality of the phone is quite amazing. the graphic equalizer is not much effective but don't expet an iPod performance from it. The volume was louder that for that of a compaq notebook Pc which i just compared with my phone's quality. I had some problems with the DKU cable drivers in Win98,but there were no problems in win2000. The data transfer is just smooth. Some persons may be having some problems with win2000 also, i recommend them to check their PCs motherboard chipset specs. I have come across PCs with intel 810,810E and 815 chipsets which don't even provide any support for conventional USB pen drives.All motherboards for PIV processors have inbuit USB support and u sholud not be having any problem with them. Sandip asked that if he could use the radio without the hnadsfree, i'm sorry to say that the FM receiver requires an antenna apart from the mobile's antenna, this antenna is in the handsfree.

i dont care how big is the phone i care about its opitons and features i saw that 6600 has GPS that can be bought and it has an os i'm not sure which one to chose :((
