Hi,I have two questions:
> What is the Video Quality like on the 6230i? I will be using it extensively with Movies and Music Videos and need to know screen quality and sound quality please.
> Does this phone accept a Dual Volt Reduced-Size 1 Gig. Memory card (the same type for the Nokia 3230)? I am going through an insurance claim and will be switching phones but still have the mmeory card - oh and I do have the back-end clip converter to MMC holders.
Any help will be greatly appreciated....

The ffirmware 3.3 has some bugs. ex resets the phone each time i try to record something. irritating

To set ur wallpaper white..All u have to do is go into the Display Settings and disable wallpaper..Thats all ur Standby background shows white..

Can anyone tell me if the quality and loudness of 6230i is better than 6230 and k700i both in loudspeaker and headphones??
Viewfinder- means the view where u can see wat ur shooting on a camera.Its normally the screen of the mobile.

Please can anyone tell me the exact "x" zoom of 6230i camera, and quality of zoom.
Please also let me know the speed of the cam when u move it(viewfinder refresh rate) and quality of video rec. in comparison to 6230.
And the overall speed of mobile compared to 6230.

@francis: you have 2 options: either upload a white picture and set it as background or the second one is to set any picture as a background and then rename/move/delete that picture from your gallery. This second way, the phone will try unsucessfully to find set the background, it won't find the file and automatically set a white background as your wallpaper.

Thanks a million for your help. I really appreciate it. One thing is that I have PC Suite version 6.4.8, but still I have to buy the DKU-2 cable isn't it to transfer the files???

It is just a GREAT phone. I loved it from the very beginning and it made me turn again to NOKIA after being a Sony Ericsson lover for a long long long time! Very nice menu and ease-of-use as most Nokias, excellent screen that showed even sharper photos that I had taken with my old SE Z600 and a great camera of 1.3 Megapixels. Not to say about the audio player and the radio, along with the very nice Bluetooth and etc etc etc.
The only "negative" is that if you use it a lot, the battery won't last longer than 2 to 3 days... but this is why they invented the charger ;)

Paul,
you can transfer mp3 files (the fastest way) by getting yourself a Memory Card Reader. Just take the MMC card out and slot it in the reader. DKU-2 cable is a way to transfering huge files WITHOUT having to turn-off the phone and taking out the card. So, good investment. I got myself a non-Nokia DKU2 cable - it works just as good. If you want to download MP3 via Bluetooth, yes it can be done but painfully slow. THe signal might even drop off in the mid of the process, not always, but it can happen. Not a phone problem, but a common BT problem. Just connect from your BT-enabled PC using "File Transfer" profile, search for yr phone, and just drag the file in. ANother way is - download PC Suite, where you will have "Nokia Phone Browser" module. Use that feature to transfer files.
