I am not a big phone fanatic, I need it to make contacts. I need help with 2 pieces information
1. My contract is ending and I have been offered an upgrade to 6230i or the motorola v3i. Which one is better?

2. As a self employed person, who has used a palm computer for my mobile diary, how can I make the most of my the benefits, and the functions that come with the phone.

Yes, 1000 contacts, that means each of them can take 5 fields of numbers n note/address etc.

Tha Dicc, I guess you can find MMC card easily in your country.. no idea

Can anybody tell that the phonebook takes 1000 entries does it mean that each name (Joe Soap) can have 4 or 5 numbers attached to his name?

Hi all. I have this phone and I relly love it. It's great. The only problem I have is that I can't set MP3's as ringing tone. The phone then displays "Not allowed by activation key". And yet the MP3's I'm trying are not copy right protected. Can anyone help me solve this? Thanks in advance.

It is a good phone, if you forget about autonomy and the video resolution!

                  Javed,

Built-in memory is 32MB but by standard you can use around 20MB coz the rest of it was use for Nokia's ringtones, pictures, samples. If you delete those, you can gain more. And for video, I have no idea, but with that 20MB it can do around 30 minutes

that is nothing to do with the phone setting, its about the operator services that u r currently using now...jsut call up to them n ask them kindly set ur ringing duration to the max.

Yes. the phone viabrates with mp3 ring tones and can also use mp3's as sms alert tones.

                              BATTERY LIFE

Well, mine only last around 48 hours max with minimum use. I also found that the GSM Signal matters. If you got low signal or no signal, it consumes battery.

If you're lucky, battery works great/normally.. I think it's something about its power management thingy.

i really dont know what you mean about the bat life...i talk and text ALOT and only have to charge it every few days. i agree with everyone that has said that this is one of the best all rounder phones on the market even if it has been out for a little while - still not as chunky as the N range. think theyre all awful

I read many comments ont he batterly life of this phone, I 've had it for a year now, and it's true that the battery only lasts for almost 30 hours with a regular use.

My question was to know wether it was true we could use the battery BP 5L (polymer battery) for the N90 ? and if it was true that it extends the stand by mode ?

                                      Thx for your help
