No Wallet! Not much security features in this phone compared to 6230... But everything else is just nice, good sound, display and keypads.

And anyone know whether can use any other Nokia charger to charge the phone?

To jack, if u want to get rid of the ascending ring/msg tone, u need to lower the ring tone level down a notch to level 4... hope this helps.

anyone, is the message alert tone / ringing tone always on d ascending mode? (like the alarm clock) i had 7370 b4 and that was very annoying, the ringtone/msg tone is low in d begining & gets louder..or d volume is loud already..tnx..and can u see the one calling because it's 3g?tnx

SAMA.. If you want to have the photo capture sound off turn the go to the menu>camera>options>settings>camera sound off that should fix the problem regardless of being on silent or general profiles :)

Ok since im bored at work i will post a little review about this wonderful phone.

First off i will say this is probably the best handset i have ever had. The feel look of the phone is tops. Menu's are lightening fast, great camera, but no flash. Night made can justify for it though. 2mp photo's are of the highest quality. Navipad and buttons have excellent feel. Uploads from PC to phone or vise versa are quick and easy to use (i use bluetooth). The sound output is a big feature that grabbed my attention strait away! OMG! The sounds is sooooooo clear. Storage wise the phone's internal memory isn't that crash hot, but memory card makes up for it with a whopping 64mb.

All in all i think that this is one of the best handsets on the market and from nokia. I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a fast sturdy phone for everyday to day use and wants a phone full of features. So go but it!!!
                Cheers Aaron aka surferguy..hehe :)

ok for some ppl that might be wondering "why doesn't my cell info display work"? i had this problem, in order to correct it you need to set the phones network settings to GSM and not DUAL mode. You can do this by going MENU>SETTINGS>PHONE>NETWORK MODE>GSM......
                  Ta Da!
                  Cheers

Hey Unnamed person down there - You asked about the speed of menu facility - You can compare it to 6230 - However, I find that 6233 is faster, smoother and better than the 6230. The 6230i was never very good in that sense, was it? Take care, rog

Hey Kat - It would be an idea to reset your phone - obviously save your address book on your sim card first. The move on to settings > reset to factory mode. I think the pass code is 12345. Give it a try. This will bring your phone back to factory status, as it was when boxed up. Maybe it is just a little glich and needs a little reset. If not successful, then call your customer services and get it sent to Nokia for a hard reset (they will reinstall the firmaware from scratch)..Hope this helps, roger

Hy Unnamed enquirer = I've looked in my phone and it seems that Nokia has left that feature out - Mine hasn't got Wallet....Although i've never used it, so I don't miss it much.. cheerio, rog

Using the phone for a week, today i have to send it to Nokia Care. Out of 10 calls made, I get "call fail" for 3 calls. They told me they can just reload the software since there is no new release.

                                Hey Roger, Harrison & co,
thanks for all your help, you've answered a lot of questions that people in the phone shops didn't even know! Now my phone has all the familiarities that I was accustomed to with my old phone (and a lot lot more). Cheers!

I just got the phone yesterday and I was playing with it today. I tried to take a picture using the phone, but the camera of the phone is always on standby mode. I've checked the net and apparently a lot of people are having the same problem. No one has any solutions! Could someone please help me? I'm getting stressed!

what about menu speed? is it quick as in nokia 6230? o does it lags like in 6230i?

Hey SLR - If you are into clamshells -then the 6131 is a nice option....However, the 6233 has a lot more to offer. I personally dislike clamshells or flipphones, whatever it is people call it, so my opinion would be a bit one sided here....But the 6233 is a better phone all round, starting with the camera, 6233 offering a 2mp, and 6131 offers a 1.3 - and so on. Cheerio. Rog

Hey Alex61, I think the only thing you can enlarge here is the Text messaging area. Go to Menu > Messaging > Message Settings > General settings > font size.
I've looked for a similar feature to apply to the rest of the phone menus, couldn't find it - Hope this helps!
