I just bought this phone. Haven't got it yet (tomorrow) I keep reading the unconfirmed rumours too about the phone getting hot. I hope not. I don't want to have to deal with the return process and having to find a "better" phone for that price range!!

With about 2 hours of Radio/MP3 playback, 30 mins of calls and 10sms'es per day I managed to squeezed 3 full days before it when compeletely dry! I don't off my phone at night, used it as alarm clock and events reminder too. Standby time like this, it's excellent! But for all new user, do remember to charge it for at least 12 hours on the first charge and run this cycle for the next few charges too..

Nope. All new nokia mobile phones from late last year (starting from 6101) onwards all uses the smaller 2mm pin charger.

Hi. For the person who has posted his mini review on the phone, i would like to know if the phone uses the same kind of charger as the normal Nokia ones. thanks. How is the battery life on average now that u had a few days on it?

                      Thanks again

It is very disappointing that the Contacts can only be saved to Phone Memory and SIM card memory. I've bought a 1GB mini SD memory, but I can't save the contacts to the mini SD memory.

Can someone please give me some advice or if there is some software to download to allow saving to miniSD memory?

The main difference is that you can't run applications in the same manner.
You won't be able to run TomTom on your mobile and all other kind off applications such as office, players...

Hi, apparently on series 60 phones (not sure cos I haven't owned one), if you try to send a text message and there is no reception then the phone queues it up and tries to send it later when reception becomes available. Does the new series 40 3rd edition on the 6233 have this useful feature? Many thanks for any information. Cheers, Dave

                                      Dear all,

I am owning a N70. But it's ringing tone disappointed me.

Thought of trading it for N6233, but I understand N6233 is S40 whilst N70 is Symbian phone.

So what can or cannot be done on N6233? eg. loading softwares, MS office, smartmovie, etc

N6233 maybe a simple phone but I have been waiting for a good Nokia phone with loud & clear ringing tone. So is N6233 the one? I am a Nokia die hard fan, very user friendly.
