this is nice phone i have 6230i and this will be my next phone but who said it will be out in aug/sept it will be out in 2nd qtr of 2006 read it in nokia website.....

Nokia 6233 is now daleyed to august/september... That is very bad news...

the model it will replace has 32mb of internal memory, this one only has 6mb! wtf is up with that? oh and to those that say it has 70mb of internal it's false, on the nokia site it says 70mb because 6mb internal + 64mb mmc = 70mb. that's basically it. i pitty you guys that got fooled by nokia's marketing team lol!

this phone is better than the w800 in design and funtionality
(EDGE+3G+Quadband+QVGA SCREEN) as advance and the black version its good looking =). not that kiddish orange SE use.
the only phone you can compare is the k800, but it lacks EDGE, Quadband and i dare to say worse design. (my taste of course), advance it have its good camera 3.2mpx, and abit more internal memory. plus its will released way after the 6233

nokia is the mobile leader now aday because it depends mostly on smartphones (symbian phones).
but in the field of normal mobile phones(supporting self firmware) it looses towards other companies like sonyericsson & samsung.
ex: 6230i cannot compete with se k750h or sam d500 & once again 6233 can't compete with se k800i .
competiton must depend on the same formfactor (category)

Maybe I am stupid but I can't understand how video calls work with only one camera... You have to choose? either to see the other person or to be seen??? I want to buy this phone so your answer will be greatly appreciated!

I think 6280 is more superior when it comes to functionality. Yes, 6233 & 6230 almost have the same features but they only differ in their design. Both phones has 2 MP cam, quality display, series 40 platform, 3G, etc., but the thing is, 6280 has 3G Video Call capability & captures high-quality videos (up to VGA resolution! much higher than N90) So, if u wanna have a phone that offers all the functions u need, N6280 is such a good choice to make rather than this 6233. ^_^

this phone supports video streaming and 3G, so it does have a chance to accept video calls besides having only one camera
