This is one of best phones I've ever owned.Works perfectly and no problem at all. I mean it.Battery lasts about 3-4 days with moderate usage (calls).I don't use the bluetooth very often but I use the camera. The only drawback is its VGA camera. But hey! it's a mobile not Digital Camera!

I must be the only person out there who had a 6260 with no problems. my battery lasted up to a fortnight. (i don't make many calls) i had absolutly no problems during the almost three years i used it. and i still use it as a backup phone. robust easy to use and packed with features i loved it.

This phone is really good and this is my first nokia flipphone. The design of twist and turn for the screen is really cool. But the only thing that i dislike is all the silver color part at the phone get off easily and i have changed my phone button twice because of the "Call"N"cancel" button....now even my power on button also the color all peer off alrdy
btw,do anyone know the way to protect those silver button from getting off ??

Elppaz, interesting thoughts. I disagree with you about battery life- it's poor compared to most other phones, almost half that of my last Nokia.
With regard to your comment about the screen- you can buy and replace it yourself for less than you paid. the ribbon cable that connects to the screen can split because of the movement, again you can buy and replace it yourself. The places I've seen selling these parts include the screwdriver you need for the star shaped screws and instructions too.

                                  kel

the problem with mp3 quality is the headset- they arent good. Nokia are a phone maker not a headset maker. See if you can get an adapter to a 3.5 mm stereo socket, I think I've seen them for the phone. However what I've done is bought a 4Gb mp3 player which uses the same battery as the Nokia, battery life is good so it doesn't eat into the Nokia's fairly low battery life. And it means I'm carrying a spare phone battery for times it's needed.

cosmin_romania- your comment about the battery- it is very easily available, and cheap too. You can pick one up on ebay for just a pound- three with carriage. It's BL-4C. Mind you battery life for this phone is not that good compared to many others- they are only rated 760mAh - it's quoted at about 6 days standby, but really drops when you use all the features like bluetooth etc.

kunkehs comment about 44k frequencies has no relevance whatsoever- apart from being plain wrong- even cats can't hear such high frequencies never mind humans. And as you get older the higher limit of your hearing drops too.
The sound frequency output is NOT what he has quoted, the 44,100 frequency is the sampling rate- something entirely different. He has absolutely no real understanding of mp3's. If you want to get reliable advice ignore his post- it's plainly wrong.
