What do you expect from a 0.6" speaker in the rotation part of this pocket- size phone. To listen mp3files you can listen using headphone or other device perhaps.

Rupesh , the phone can take a maximum of 16000hz , while the quality of mp3 is about 44000hz. so its almost no treble at all!

Great handset, i used it for 2.5 years! too bad it isn't for sale anymore. Easy to use but camera imaging is very slow.

it is a great phone i have it for 5 months! i m disapointed in the battery features!! and I can not find the battery for this tipe of phone!!! im glad that i have it! the design is perfect! i uset only for talking! it has almost 1000 hours of talking and it runs smood as sail except the battery! i dont want anithing else! maybe an n93

I'm using 6260 nokia mobile. Now a days one problem occurs in my set. that is, when i switch on my phone, it doesnot open. but some time blinks one time when i try to switch on. I thought it is the battery problem but. when it switch on oppertunitly It shows battery full. Please some one can solve my phone's problem. i would be very glad if any one solve this problem.

This phone sucks. I was never so disappointed in Nokia. There are at least 3 ongoing issues with the phone; 1, while writing a text message sometimes the phone pops up a message that says application failure ok? you then have to hit ok and now your text messaga is gone!! and you have to start over. 2. It deletes msgs randomly,despite the settings some msgs in my inbox disappear in less time than the settings are set for. 3. The dictionary feature for sms is annoying, you can only add words to the dictionary that are spelled 'correctly' so you cant add 'thx' and have the auto dictionary show it-- net you have to tap it manually. Other things about the phone are nice like the camera and display -- but tooooo many annoying malfunctions!1

I have been using this phone for over a year now. Awesome phone no problems at all except it get hanged when i reveive a call. But this is very rare and i can live with it. Apart from this, two thums up :-)

I'm using this phone since 2005. Average daily talk-time: 3 hrs. Stand-by time: 3 days. Medium phone, no problems at all.

i occasionally got this mobile, but now its 2 years passed,i am using it. Smart and movable screen with easy functions make it distinctive from others.

My Opinion on the Nokia 6260
Pros
-very powerful phone
-best battery life I've seen
-can change the screen's position for comfort
-comfortable for people with large hands
Cons
-horirbly desgined power button
-hard to navigate with the directional pad
-bad camera
-wish the light indicator blinked when I have a call instead of just when charging
When I first got it my first impression was it was bulky, and honestly I did not find the functionality of the twist very "functional". so what if I can twist it? the camera is a vga cam and below average quality. I like how the phone had a lot of power and could be used to read microsoft word , powerpoint, and pdf, but that is all software. Now onto the hardware:
The battery life was beyond anything for it's time. The screen size was very comfortable and positioning the screen so it was towards you was very comfortable as awell and a veyr nice touch by nokia. The number keypad was large and I loved it ( I have some what large hands), the grip was nice even tho it's still bulky but comfortable as well. The only main flaws in the hardware was the directional pad (the joystick if u will) , very hard to use, some times u press it and u don't know if u pressed it or not and with time its pressibility deteriorated. Ahh the power button , the worst thing about this phone, after about a year from using this phone, the power button became very hard to press since it started sinking inside. to the point where I'd have to press very hard with a pen to make it turn on or off. till the point where the button stopped working completley. I had to go fix it which cost me about $50 since they replaced the screen as well (which started to have these lines, I concluded that the screen got damaged since the phone is a flip phone, where there is mechanical movement there is wear and tear. every time u closed the phone u impacted it and that somehow affected my screen, now mind u I take very good care of my phone, and again was surprised from this phone.)

I had this phone for a short while after I wanted it for years. I liek the style and the twist for the camera, and it was my first flip phone I was impressed with the handset however it his slightly flimsy and can be easily broken. Care is required and not advised for a heavy user or construction use.

Well. U should be grateful with it since its one of the best fone for its time. Nokia is still learning to make quality fone at this fone time of released. So praise nokia good work. Oh btw, this fone is bettered by the fully packed feature fone n90. Why not u get the fone so that u will be even more satisfied.

This phone shows all the features I want but there is only one thing not impressing me - its monophonic sound when I played my mp3 music thru earphone.
