can someone of you know how to dismantle the rotating part of the nokia 6260,i its the problem of my phone, when you twist it the display were lost,no problem on the flex cable,some repair center says the problem is on the twisting connector, dont know if its the exact term..could someone pls help me...tnx in advance

i love this fone.. if your a budget concious and wanted to have like a nokia N-series fone this will be the best substitute..

The Nokia 6260 rivals most of the high end symbian phones with some of the "basic" necessity of a symbian powered mobile..it can play MP3 music as ringtone and SMS tone, high quality VGA camera output as compared to the 1 megapixel of the 7610, clear voice recording, Mono MP3 output is quite frustrating but heck, just buy a standard MP3 player and you'll get it on with the sounds!
This phone requires easy handling, cared for usage and of course, safe keeping so your mobile phone won't get overused nor prone to defects..as in every mobile phone gadget should be kept in good condition, you should take good care of it..Nice design, flip mode a little edgy, but when easily and carefully handled, you'll get the best out of this mobile..though, I have a question, does anyone of you tried using a 1 gigabyte rs-mmc with this one? does it work? Thanks..

No problem with my set like u encounter. Maybe u bought an unoriginal set. This fone is complete with many features that could rival with the latest cell.

Worst mobile of the world, it was my big mistke thahti bought that mobile. never purchase this handset even it is used and cheapin rate, as ther is a default problem in all NOKIA 6260, it's volume control in sound clips or MP3 player not working, i mean you will get maximum volume in all the volume level, once you restart the phone, it will work for few songs and agin it will malfunction.

awesome phone!! i think the only reason why it doesn't work properly is because it depends on the people who use it!!!

I believe its a good unique fone. Packed with loads of bogus feature as an all in one device. Great swivel form, symbian os, bluetooth, exp mem slot, fm radio, camera, pda functions n many more. Outstanding product!

i hate this phone and my openion for all is don't buy this phone it's just wasteing of money in buying this phone,i am selling it and buying a nokia-6600 or n72.

man, 6260 has no 3g or wifi so i can't videocall, if there is a software that could transform it, it won't still work same as a 3g phone coz it has only GPRS and it's only class 6!, S700 is better if you are a multimedia freak in camera and music department, but 6260 rules in it's symbian capability and memory capacity, s700 holds up to 128 MS-cards only, while this one holds up to 1Gb, but only 512mb cards are advisable for it will surely slow-down this phone...

MONIL this phone can video call sony ericsson S700 cannot video call so if i have many money i will buy this 2 phones cause i like those phones and many more like SE K800 etc.... i think this phone will be a 3G because it can video call like some 3G phones do or nokia can you make a this phone a 3G phone...pls cause i love this phone if it is a 3G phone but even now the phone has no 3G i love it

Very user "unfriendly". I only had it for a year and most of the paint peeled off, even the chrome part looks very tatty. Buttons are difficult to press and sometimes do not respond. All in all not a good phone. I am very disappointed

my advice for ralph is sony ericson s-700 is better than nokia 6260 but 6260 looks good than s-700.

i think it is the best phone in it's class because it's screen rotates in four positions,has a hidden camera,and also fm radio with 20 station memory.
it's main disadvantages are-
1-it has a vga camera of only[480-360]resolution.
2-dosen't supports stereo output.
3-video recording is of very bad quality

Dun be upset u dun own diz fone. Its quite old now n is bettered by the n90, n93 n n71. Also the battery life of this fone is poor.
