i had this phone for a year and a hlaf now and the buttons dont seem to work. The phone was cool when i first got it but after a while i found that the swivel is not very sturdy and paint comes off and dust gets in the phone really easily.
Soon most of my phone doen't work. but that was no problem.....butnow my left and right keys + menu is broken that i wonder how good nokia really is. This is my 3rd nokia and also the 3rd broken nokia...hmmm is nokia good? Anyway the cost in HK to repair this phone is $1000+ so i suggest you to trash the phone before it gets off warranty.

great design, complete features, this is a descent phone, much cheaper than others, i like it a lot, i dont give a damn what other say about this fone, pls. email me for more comments

hey, i've been using this phone for like 5 months and its ok to me...and for the rest who dont know..u cant let a bluetooth message sent straigh to ur mmc card..it'll have to save in the phone only..if u want such feature, get a nokia 7610, u can save songs/pics receiving by bluetooth straight to the memory card

i had my nokia for about a year and about 3months ago it started to go haywire. first it restarts then it hangs and lastly it cant boot up anymore. now it displays "phone cannot be restarted, pls contact your retailer" i have taken good care of it but the phone just died of natural causes... i think i got a lemon....

Just bought 1gig dv rs mmc 4 my n6260 & it works well.. I've had lots of applications already including games and avi files for dvd player.. I admit it's camera was not good but just to comment on this.. This is a phone and not a digital camera. If you want to take good pictures, buy yourself a digicam.. LOL! To those who hav screen problems, the phone's FLEX might've been damaged already.. Better bring it to authorized Nokia service centers so that it may be replaced..

iv'e been using 6260 for about 3 months. then i was very xcitd 2 hav it bcoz it cn be twisted. but 1 thing i hate in 6260 the camera is very very ugly.6260 cannot be able to count the number of pictures you will be able to take and the maximum time in taking a video.

I don't understand why this phone can be considered best in the world as after 6 months of usage I sell it to get a second hand K800i and v3i(new line). This phone kept having power cut and the plastic finish wear off easily just after a few months of using. Simply crap phone but maybe N75 will be a lot better as Nokia should be improving their clamshell phones by then.

...i've been using N6260 for a month...and i haven't experiance any difficulty yet... one thing i dont like bout this is its camera feature...it doesn't have a timer...and inconvinient to use bcoz everytime i want to take a picture..i have to twist it...its very obvious... but overaLL...its great!!! can anyone heLp me??? wats the best anti-virus program for our phone??? any suggestion??? advice??? latest accesories...and what are the progams u have instaLLed on your phone..? wats the best mp3 player??? wat else...mmmp how bout the memory...i cant transfer a 7mb file on my phone coz the built in memory is only 6.5...any suggestion on how i can transfer the 7mb fiLe...im transfering it via bluetooth... thanks 4 your replies! godspeed!

I've been using this model for about 3 months now and I haven't experience any difficulty yet. I've just installed a DVD player recently & it does functions well.
Contrary to those users who claimed they are unable to lock / unlock keypad of this phone, try this : press left uppermost key then press menu key to lock / unlock keypad.
And yes it plays mp3 / mp4 / FM only on mono sound but you can purchase an adaptor for normal walkman earphones and speakers as well for better sound.

the 6260 is a good phone with sweet internet capabilites.but my only problem is that the phone refuces to go on internet ever since i entered this code *#7370# that i found on the net. over all its blue tooth features are cool an the ablity to recive app is awsome an some other stuff i cant get in to right now.i say thank you to the guy that designed the phone because i give the phone a 4/5 for good work.but can some one help me get my phone back online my net work operaters are puzzled because even if you manage to get it oNline it will refuse to use google can some one help me PLEASE....

I use my 6260 as an emergency back up fone to my 7610. Overall i reckon it is a miserable failure for a couple of reasons.
1: It is a texters nightmare because all the functions are not on the lower control pad. I'm forever having to use two hands to be able to access all the functions. With all that wasted space on the bottom they could easily have fitted all the functions on the lower half.
2:the joystick / navigation key gives you the wrong response 6 times out of 10 due to a very sensitive poorly designed action, not like my 6600... Now that's a joystick.
3: The camera is rubbish, giving very poor pictures and video. My 6600 was far better.
The good points are the very bright screen. Hot swappable memory card and the abilty to place it on the table and watch videos like a mini DVD player.
It looks and moves like the predesessor to the N91 and the N93.
