I have a 256MB memory card in my 6260. Works very well. Impressed with phone. The only problem I have is using XP and 6260 as bluetooth modem. I usually spend more time to get it working than using it. Quite anoying.
I like to use it for IM. checkout www.mxit.co.za/wap and Agile Messenger. Top notch! Better than other phones, use the silver button to switch between running programs!

Hummmm thats strange. I'm not having any problems similar to thatone. Call your provider and ask them becouse I did not see anybody with that problem.

i have 6260, i think it's a very goog phone, very smart, and not that expensive.i 4 one, am very happy with it, but i only have 1 problem...i cannot receive calls from other providers, except Vodaphone(which is my provider)or Orange..i can make calls, but can-t receive. i don't know much about that, how it works really, don't know what's the problem. fortunattely, my friends and fam are all on Orange or Vodaphone,but many people in my country have other network providers...what do i do?is this a common problem?

This phone lacks of improvements (mono stereo,easily fade keypad) but this phone sure is a big winner.

The Nokia 6260's quickword and quickpoint are not on the memory card! They are part of the phones original software. And no the 6260 will not support video calling as it is not a 3G phone, you have to have a 3G phone to do that and the 6260 is not 3G enabled. There is also no way of changing it so best you get another phone if you want to make video calls!
My 6260 is still going strong!

hey does any one know if this phone can do video calling?? and if yes do i need a service from tmobile? bc my sis just bought a N70 and i know she can do video calling on hers, so would someone plz let me know asap thanx in advance

this is one of the only flip smartphones available. you should understand smartphones right now are a TAD better than any other phone in the market. its because of its usuability, versatility. basically the types of programs u can have are ENDLESS. ive played pokemon gameboy version on this, and every person was caught suprised. and if u use photoacute, the camera quality can go up to 1 megapixel. its all good, u will not get bored of this phone. other phones have java games only

When i first saw this phone it really caught my eye.... It's beautiful and when my friend bought one i jelous and want to get one for my self. But does the memory card on 6260 user replaceable? Pls. Tell me?....

I don't know what all you people are complaining about. The Nokia 6260's mp3 quality is superb. The infrared doesn't work like Bluetoth, you have to put the ports togehter.

hallo peoples.. i've just bought nokia 6260 its perfect it's got everything that u need.. i put in thet many programs many mp3 songs ang games of course and difficult themes.. i have had much phones like lg samsung sony ericson but this is the king of phones..
could someone tell me can i put a card slot up to 256MB did someone take that..
