I think that phone is the best of the smart phones series 60 because its easy to use, compatible and very useful.

To Mazin
The recieved Bluetooth messages by default save into the phone memory. To change it you have to save it and then enter the gallery and move the file to the memory card by selecting the "move" option. Hope that you have a great time with an excellent phone! Kyle

After reading other peoples comments I have to admit that I have had no problems with my mp3 player. The sound quality is excellent with great volume range. Throught the headset it is even better. You can hear it clearly even if a vacuum cleaner is on in the room. For those of you with problems of skipping songs, you have probably not loaded the mp3's on properly as I use the original Nokia PC suite and my mp3's are great. The camera although only VGA takes great photo's even when viewed on a PC. My volume key has not even begun to show any signs of losing it's paint and is used regularly. I wonder what type of treatment those people give their phones for it to do that. Nokia's deserve respect!!!

As a user of the Nokia 6260 for over 5 months now I am extremely impressed! As a Nokia fan and a user of my 9th Nokia phone I am definately impressed. The symbian operating system is a boon and ease of use is great. My only complaints would be of the lack of a outer screen to indicate the callers ID! The LED light is effective in indicating calls but doesn't beat a screen. As a Dialup Modem it is extremely useful. However I have experienced failures of the modem, restarting the phone corrects the problem. If the phone was 3G enabled witha better camera it would surely be a top seller. But then again you could just as well buy the N90!

u know somethin? i realize that everybody complains abt every single phone i've browsed through...
no.1, its juz a phone and none of them are perfect..its not like u WILL use every single feature on it...and downloadin lots of stuff does make ur phone slow down..n ur phone can get hanged too..it happens to almost any phone...what i think is, u should follow ur own instincts..u feel like buying it? go ahead and buy it...u wanna know the weakness of the phone u're about to purchase...then, u should investigate urself..there'll always be new models coming..

Hi,
i am currently using 6670. i suggest all of you who want to take this phone better go for 6670. the positive points are 1MP camera and dashing design. also, MP3s play smoothly however not confirmed whether they're stereo or not but sound like stereo. if someone wants stereo sounds in real (in symbian) he should go for 6630 (i'm also looking for it nowadays).
6260 & 6670 are almost of same price!

I really like my 6260!!
da camera its good, the sound its good as well... i dont like 2 things: the ringtones are really bad!! but we can record or put mp3 to play!! so... not big problem... and the mobile when i turn on, take a long time to turn on!!! but... i can live with that!!!
i hope u enjoy it!!

I want 2 say that 6260 is da worst symbian phone ! I bought it , tried it , sold it & then got da 7610 !! its really better but if u r interested in playing mp3s via the dual headset u won`t be able to use da original one !! u should buy a cheap copy of da original headset and it will work prfectly , i tried it !!

Great phone, but the MP3 player is terrible. The music skips and sounds worse than its radio! Also, the chrome painted buttons strip off easily leaving an ugly (though ruggued looking) transparent button.
The number pad for the black version has no problems but for the 'brown'(looks like silver to me) version, its prone to loosing its color as well.
The 'odd' camera location is actually quite common and allows you to use the phone like a handicam. It can even allow you to take pictures of the person next to you without facing them. The picture quality though is rather poor and is worse than 6230 and the video recording function is just there to make the phone look smarter than it really is.
The phone is abit laggy too so refrain from using mem cards larger than 256mb and high res wallpapers.
The placement of the keys in both the top and bottom half of the clamshell makes messaging a rather 2-handed operation which some people dislike.
Conclusion: This is a great, value-for-money phone which requires great care (especially the 'brown' version). It served me well during these past 1.5 years until it decided to go for a swim. Go get it.

Hi any1 can help me out!!! My Bluetooth msgs can only be saved in fone memory. The option of 'Memory in Use' in msg settings is not there. This may be due to i hve format the fone but now how can i recover it. The other thing is tht ven i install any software for camera it doesnt work. the video captured by its orginal software is very very poor compared to SE K700 but the still pics r far good in quality than K700. Do i need to upgrade its firmware. Plz help me out.......
Otherwise the fone is true worth of ur money n simlpy outstanding.
