Hello, sorry, if u are meaning the reverse, if the the 6260 use reduce size MMC(rsmmc) so if u use those big MMC on the 6230 they cannot be used on the 6260....

hi, i dont see why the rsmmc card on the 6260 cant work on the 6230, u just needs to attach the adaptor and it will become like a MMC so u can put into 6230.

however, those phone like 6630/6680 need dual voltage rsmmc, so if u use the normal rsmmc like those for the 6260/6670, it will not work on 6630/6680 etc.

this is a good phone....3230 is also good but it costs higher compared to this phone, and some technicians also told me that 3230 broke down easily.. good thing i bought this phone. so far no negative feedback, hopefully there wont be.

Hi, i dont think ogg player can make 6260 play .wma file. the only nokia phone i know who can play wma file is N91 and 3250??? but it is good that .ogg file format can be played using this application.

This phone is good in that u can turn it around. i feel that the keypad is a little stiff but maybe it just need getting used to? the browse mode and putting the buttons below the screen is a good idea, but it would even be better it there was a small screen outside. there seems to be something wrong with the power button--it gets stuck inside easily! dont press it upwards and too hard so that it wont get stuck.

the mp3 sound is not exactly good, but personally i think it fares slightly better than the 3230 sound which is simply horrible.i feel that the midi files' sound is acceptable too.

I use this phone with a Nokia bluetooth hands free device. My problem is when the phone flap is closed I cannot use the BT device to voice dial or give voice commands. Is there any way I could do it.

                        For Yogesh Mathur,
Hmm. Don't use your phone just like a camcorder if you want to achieve Full VGA resolution use it at desktop mode not camera mode(This Phone has 3 modes: Work mode which is used to send SMS or while Calling, camera mode which is the mode you are now using on your phone's camera,Web/desktop mode/Browse mode is the one which can take pictures in highest resolution of 640x480 not 480 by 360. For more info hmmm go to the review of 6260 on this site the subject is Nokia 6260 review: Symbian in a flip.

                        Hope this could help ya..

As you have mentioned Nokia 6260 has a VGA camera of 640 * 480 but it only has a VGA camera of 480 * 360.

nokia australia has just sent us an e-mail saying that they have discontinued this phone and that we can't even get the ones on back order. pity, this is another phone that is having strong selling numbers at the moment and nokia has spoilt the party. people of australia, if you can get one then grab it cause they won't be around for much longer.

Dale the Mp3 player is mono but yet enjoyable. Mono means single sound but through 2 speakers.I will advise the 6230i its better

Nokia 6260 is a very lovely phone with all the functions/features in it. It serves more as a past-time rather than a mobile. The best part about it is the quality of sound that it has.

I work in a factory where I handle & cut sheet metal 40 hrs a week. My 6260 is always on my hip in a folding case, screen outwards. Never had a problem, never had a scratch in 5 months of use.

The only issues I have with it are the shortened battery life through having a few background tasks running (gotta love Java :) and the camera kicking in when I flip the screen around slower than lightspeed.

[Ash] - The inbuilt player is okay but you'd be better off with OGGplayer - try here... http://symbianoggplay.sourceforge.net/ . This does .OGG & also .WMA format too :)

[Lav] - What sound problem? If you don't elaborate, people won't know what you're talking about. Come up with something informative and people will listen.

Hi.. I'm thinking of getting this phone for myself but I just need some information about the mp3 player.... What does "Mono Mp3" mean exactly? What make this phones mp3 player different from other mp3 players like the LG m4410 or the Nokia 6320i... anybody pls. And another thing... can the radio play while the phone is closed?
                                        Thanks
