I've got this mobile and what can I say is:I'm really contented. The radio is great.
But,I'm not contented about battery's life.My phone has battery charger BL-4C.If I listen the radio for 3h/day and the volume moderate and to call 15 min/day the battery life is max 36h.I want to know if can I find another battery with a life longer.Cheers !

Hi, I have been using 6260 for over 8 months now. I was pretty happy initially, but of late the phone starts getting hanged and has a lot of call drops and network issues. My netwrok operator says its a phone problem. Can anyone please let me know if they are facing similar issues. Else, the phone is top class.

GReat phone, though I think that the buttons right underneath the display better had been put where the other keyboard is.
Btw: where is the USB port????

Its a very nice phone! Just be careful you don't drop it or sumthin..it's pretty fragile. I have a friend who owns a mobile phone repair shop where a broken 6260 (wouldn't turn on) was brought in by a client. They had to work on it for a number of days because the phone's design is too complicated. they were able to fix it, though.
But all in all, I recommend this phone..especially the black one (like the one I have)...

hi krit,
try using the "card reader" for transferring the files and transfer them directly to the card.
for battery
that might be because you use bluetooth quite a lot. bluetooth consumes a lot of battery. use less bluetooth and the battery last 2 days easily.
hope this works out for u krit

Hi Bliss =)
1) check in profiles if you have everything setup normally (with assigned ringtone, adequate volume level, etc.)
2) try to listen to sounds using the headset.
3) try to restart the phone.
4) assign a normal ringtone for the meantime to test sound (default ringtones or preloaded tones). dont assign mp3 or wav ringtone yet.
5) try to record your voice using sound recorder and try to listen to it.
if all or any of the "preloaded" or "default" ringtones doesnt work, try to have it check in nokia center. unless you're ok to format your phone.

Hello everybody, wondering anyone in this forum face this problem before. My 4 months-old 6260 became soundless today. I didn't drop it nor abuse it in any way. The ringing tone is not working, playing mp3 is soundless and even the loud speaker is not working. I'm quite sure that there is nothing wrong with the speaker as there is still alert sound. Please help :(

Hi,
I am using 6260 Nokio model.
While transferring some MP3 songs it is saying that the memory is full. And when i try to see the manual it has been written that i have to use less shared memory so as to send more files in to my phone.
What is this shared memory? and can't i use only MMC to transfer files from computer to my Phone. Or do i need to delete some files which are in gallary(that too in MMC).
And my second doubt is how long the 6260 Nokio phone battery longs after one complete carging? As my battery life after one carge is coming for one day alone !!
Do reply me in detail,
thanks in advance,
Krit
